Games with tight gameplay systems almost always work with randomizers. That's why Resident Evil games are great for them. You're forced to improvise with any option you can, bringing that old survival horror spirit back in after you have mastered the game. Honestly if there were any series that needed a stock randomizer, it would be Resident Evil.
