A popular Wainwright above Bassenthwaite Lake. Good Parking, with a cafe! and easy paths leading to a summit with excellent views on a clear day.

Derwent Water looking amazing with Pickle in the background. What a lovely stone at the top of Dodd. Popular fell then I take it? Great tour of the visible summits Alistair! Great angle on Skiddaw and the Little Man and Catstye and Helvellyn! Lovely hike! Thanks for taking us! 👍

Handy for Keswick, lots of parking at the bottom, (mostly not free tho'!) and a fairly easy short walk means it sees it's fair share of visitors! Not as many as Catbells mind! Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated as always 👍 Have a great weekend cheers Alistair 👍

Filmed it 3 times now, on my own, with the family and with friends and a go to fell for me if I need my fitness rising after a lay off. I did Barf, Lords Seat and Broom Fell last Saturday from Thornthwaite and what a pull it was up to barf, and worse coming back down, very steep. On a clear day you great views from Dodd but it is getting more and more popular, cheers Alan

Hey Alaister, ill never forget this walk, well I never did that's the point, I went up Ullock pike, Long Side and Carlisle, the plan was to pick up Dodd on the way down but my legs were completely finished so I left it .... really regretted it since, some great views mate and of course the knowledge you share with us all, catch you soon matey - Alan Team54
