Some cracking views up there! This is definitely on our list after it evaded us last month! Ah, great improvements Alistair, you’ve gone about it so sensibly. It was lovely and clear! I've actually tweeked my right knee this week, had a couple of days rest and it feels a lot better now. I always like a walk over "Blisco", the rewards out weigh the effort I think! Thanks for your lovely comments and for watching. Cheers Alistair i

@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad yikes, my knees are always doing that. Been too proud to strap up or use poles for far too long. Its taking its toll now. I usually wait till they hurt to resort to them but i think i might have them out in advance from now on. Glad to hear they are already on the mend! 👍👍

Never done any of those high Fells in the Langdale Valley, took Mrs Metalman to the waterfall down there a couple of years back. Been meaning too last couple of summers and another one slipping by but looked a very nice walk, steep but worth it for the great views, cheers Alan

It's steep up and down Alan, but the steep bits are "pitched"paths. If I was allowed to drive, and only doing Blisco..... I'd park on the top of Wrynose Pass and make a circuit from there! The waterfalls at the head of Oxendale are impressive.... although they're becoming an instagammer location! Thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated as always 👍 Cheers Alistair

I'm always worried that I might be boring folks with my recollections!🤔 So I'm pleased you find them interesting 👍 As regards how many Wainwright's I've climbed, I don't wish to appear to be boasting but....There are of course 214 hills in the 7 Pictorial Guides. I am in the process of filming this round, presently at 76. When completed this will be my 8th round. There are many favourites which I will have climbed dozens of times. @@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad wow Alastair that is amazing 😳 I have 2 suggestions you can totally ignore 🙈 1) Call your channel ‘Wainwrights walks wi’a local lad’. I think this will possibly get you more viewers (which you certainly deserve) as it shows what your about. 2) Put more of your personal stories in. I and many others will find them fascinating and we connect better with you. I’m no guru on KZbin but I’m someone who watches a lot of it and never puts the TV on as I like to watch photography or walking videos. Just a suggestion 😊

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, as I've been limited to using local buses since February the channel has been very focused on the Wainwright's had I not been ill I would have been filming some of the other things I enjoy. I watch lots of wainwright walk video's. Yours are superb love your descriptions at the top. Would appreciate it if you gave more info on the walk like where you started from and information on the walk .. keep up the good work they are brilliant and some of the best on you tube. Ps pike o blisco is my favourite wainwright the views in my opinion are the best in lakeland...
