Jillian will melt the fat off of your body and sculpt and tone even the hardest of places. Her dvds blow my mind.

I wear one religiously. I have lost weight 130 lbs and I use it to hold my skin in. I also like the support it gives me for my lower lumbar. I also dont wear it so tight I can't breath. I go down is size I get a new one. Each tool to there own. Love me some Jillian! Still a great video!

It's like those stones/crystals people use to ward off bad energy. Sure they may not work the way you say, but if it helps make you feel better, and keeps you feeling good, who's to say they don't work!?

Thank you for this video! I feel many women use it for the wrong reasons. I have a few slimmer belts but only use them when I'm exercising to get the most sweat off my stomach. It really has helped me to lose inches off my waist, and it's so satisfying to see a wet belt after a workout.

Jillian, while I appreciate the honesty of this video, I saw one of your waist trainer belts in the shops just last week and it has all those claims about being body sculpting and helps lose weight/burn more calories. Why do you endorse this product?

I have been on team JM for years! I have been into fitness for 25+ years. I work out everyday with different levels of intensity it has worked for me but by far if I need/or want extra motivation to get me to the next level JM is my girl! So beautiful and pure 🔥🔥 thanks for all you do! 🙏❤️

A coach made me wear one while I was training for a fitness competition. I wore it 10 hours per day for 4 months. The result was almost a complete loss of all my core muscles strength. I couldn’t even sit without it to support me because it became to hard to support my body without it. Jillians program got me back in shape.

I know people that have used them to increase thermogenic effects while working out. My son lost tummy fat very quickly wearing one. That said, it wasn't so tight as to impede breathing. He was very concientious to engage his core & hes now a buff muscled up guy😊 if people use these safely they can br a great tool. Only in America do you find odd ball product disclaimers, some people just dont think...

I would recommend a sweat belt style waist trainer vs the waist trainers with hooks/are more rigid for the people who want to use these while working out :)

Just started using one a couple of weeks ago for when I weight train. I don’t put it on super tight. It’s simply there to remind me of proper form.

It helps me with posture. I always poke my stomach out and lose my posture after having children. It annoys me.

Same I have lordosis and it sucks when people assume I’m purposely sticking out my stomach. I can’t help it. The waist trainer does the job!

Talking about squeezing organs inside, that means us ladies we are used because we carry pregnancy at times even multiple so don't worry about us our internal organs are always shifting.

The big question for me is posture: Does it help with posture and do you keep it? I use the ones that go around your shoulders and I look silly, but at least with a waist trainer I can hide it under my clothing. I had large breasts growing up and my mom and friends at school made me ashamed so I kept rounding my shoulders forward trying to hide it and my posture got worse and worse. I ended up getting a reduction but I can't seem to stop slouching.

I actually had to look this up to see what a waist trainer was. I gasped at the sight of one, first, then I read that they are made with hard metal boning. OMG... thank you for posting this Jillian, you are saving lives, as usual! 😀

One of the Kardashians sells a type of body shaper that is as tight as a corset, they sell it as if that was all that was needed to look like them, when it is evident they have had surgeries and tons of implants. Very dishonest and irresponsible to say the least! Thank you for this video, you explain everything soooooooo in detail. Thanks!

I’m 23 years old. I used to wear waist trainer when I was 18-20 years old to stop myself from eating and to reshape my figure. It wasn’t even one of those Velcro comfortable looking ones, it had rods and literally left me scars. It was so painful. I did lose weight but I also started over exercising and eventually stopped eating, so I developed anemia among other things, my hair started falling and I know I even passed out a couple times. I remember I used to do insanity workouts at least twice a day and eventually I ended up doing the same level one of the 30 day shred because I found it easy at first but then I couldn’t do that either. I dropped weight in about a year, a big amount, like from 180lbs to 130 and was feeling like I was about to die anytime. I’m not on the other extreme, during this pandemic I haven’t been working out as much, I’m always sick and regained some weight. I wish I could workout without the feeling that I’m going to pass out. I wish I could eat better. But it’s been such a hard time this past year. I stopped working out altogether and whenever I do it’s just 20-30 minutes and I’m so dead. In other words, I do not recommend waist trainers to lose weight. I do not recommend forcing yourself to starve or going through such a traumatic phase because it’ll eventually rebound in ways you don’t expect it to.

Thanks for the information. I am in my 50s, I have a huge stomach I tried everything to loss the fat and I walk a lot. Most areas of my body is fine, but my stomach is the major problem. I was looking like I am pregnant. This is now making me feel depressed. Please help.

Please can you do more videos on diastasis recti specifically the safe exercises one can do (with weight training included). I'm used to intense training but have avoided it as I've been told I can widen the gap.

Great info! I know you mentioned waist trainers aren’t good to reshape the midsection but I’m wondering if hip dips are a result of wearing tight jeans. It seems all of the fat has moved up or below the area of where my jeans fit naturally or is it just how the body deposits fat. Thanks

My sister wore a band on her hips and waist the last trimester because she ripped the cartilage in her pelvis when it stretched apart so to keep her pelvis in place, she had to wear things like that.

Love your videos Jillian. Could you please make one on reverse dieting? Im petite and getting close to my weight loss goal so my caloric deficit has me at below 1,000 cals which is crazy. Wondering if reverse dieting actually works and if you recommend it.

Ive watched it and I’ve been eating 1200-1400 cals per day and exercising 6-7 days per week (1-1.5 hr walking almost every day plus 40-60mins weight lifting or hitt 5 days a week) to get a deficit but still only loosing about 1lb per month. Super slow... i lost already 40lbs at 1lb/week before Christmas and not sure how to get back to that. Body is not responding the same way and I’ve tried changing things up and increasing intensity. Very frustrating.. was wondering your thoughts on reverse dieting.. thanks again!

Shoulder / military/ Arnold presses , single dumbbell front hammer raises, lateral raises, upright rows, etc...Squat( at least 50) every to every other day...Eat healthier & less...STAY HYDRATED

I’ve had 2 cesarean births, the last was 22 years ago. I still have a “shelf” no matter how much weight I lose and I workout to your body shred DVD’s. What else can I do?! I drink lots of water and watch what I eat.

Waist trainers are a waste of time, my DOc suggested it after birth, it did nothing however 20 years of Jillian did!!! My stomachs muscles went back together a few years later with diligent workout

I have significant diastases recti or something. I just know that i am way past postpartum and i still look 6 months pregnant. I think my case is bad and it really affects me mentally. After my second kid it was all over. I hate corsets and such because i just feel confined. I dont know if thats why my belly is still so much out there. The rest of my body is slender enough but my belly stick out so much and does not fit with my body. Ive bought the JM app 2 years in a row and only used it a couple weeks and then didnt stick with it because i heard the only way to fix my belly is by doing surgery. That is really discouraging but i really want the answer. Is this a fact? Can i loose the belly fat and the flab at the bottom and tighten the muscles without surgery. Should i get a consult with a surgeon. I really dont want to go under the knife tho. I really need to know this answer.

I have found it will do that. It will do stair steps..two up & two down then stay at that..then two down back two up & stay.. example if ur 140lbs.. it first gos down 👏138.. Back up 😑..140how?? ..then ☺️138 stay💯..now it remains..and again Then 136..👀..138😧what? back down 136🤗..stay.. Adleast that kinda how it's happening to me. I was about 200lbs now I'm 173☺️
