To me, I interpreted the different soloists as different emotions/feelings of Burr. The first one is the love, the kindness and compassion. The two ladies after are the ones that are confident; the ones holding their heads up high. The dude coming up after that is the envy and anger at Hamilton. The last one is the one that stays quiet; the one that examines everything from a distance. This was a gorgeous cover!

I think Lin-Manuel Miranda has said that the true measure of the success of "Hamilton" is if it starts being embraced and sung by kids in high school. Based on this video, I think that promise is truly being fulfilled. What an amazing cover. Your voices are all fantastic, you're clearly putting your hearts and souls into this, and you've come up with something that moved me just as much as Leslie Odom Jr's brilliant performance. He’s not moving down whole octaves, just a few notes down the scale (5 in “fall”, I think). I think what he’s doing is called “melisma”. I loved it too!
