I used this song for my bass audition piece to get into college. Had to be one of the most important moments in my life when I got accepted, and I will always have this song, and specifically your bass line, to thank for it! Thank you so much!

Your Bass playing took The Damned to a new high when The Black Album came out. Inspired me then just as watching this is now.

This is such a great bassline that was mostly buried in the mix, it's good to hear it clean. I had the immense pleasure of working for The Damned in 81, hence the name.....it's all been downhill ever since.

one of the grearest bass players of all time and for me personally on of yhe greatest bass riffs ever..fantastic, so glad you are back with the damned..love the band one of my faves since ok..i was a kid in the 70s..the damned changed my vision of music and the future with their soul and energy and passion..i love yhe damned as a kid in hollywood at a time when you were a freak to listen to this kjnd of music back then..thanks for opening my ears and heart with youre songs and youre spirt.

Awesome Paul. in 1992 the band I was in covered this song. The drummer in that band was a certain Andrew Pinch Pinching .....!

Always luved you basswork on "lively arts". Gives Jean Jacques Burnel's early work (ie "No More Heroes") a good run-for-the-$$$...

You know, when I bought my Fender Jazz many years ago it was a choice between the 68 Jazz and a 70 Rickenbacker 4002. Sometimes I really wish I'd had the money to buy both. They were both around £230 back then but I could only afford one.
