Omg Gwen’s death scene was sooo heartbreaking even though most comic book fans expected to see this in the movie cuz it is unfortunately canon..that is indeed Peter and Gwen’s fate..in whatever universe Peter or Gwen’s one of them dies. Even if Peter has MJ, Gwen will always be his forever first true love and the most heart wrenching loss in his life. Even though the movie kind of changed up the way Gwen dies..it’s still similar..literally her back/neck snapped due to the whiplash. In the movie I think she also hits her head while breaking her neck/back her nose starts bleeding too…brain damage for real. The speed in which she was falling and if Peter just caught her a minute or two earlier. But yeah it didn’t happen..this was a tough loss and lesson for Peter. You can’t always save everybody..especially the ones you love. It made Peter realize that with Gwen’s death. Even though he already knew and warned Gwen how dangerous being around him is..she still..they still made the decision to stay together. Which is why he gets hesitant to tell MJ about being Spider-Man and he becomes stand-off and distant at times with her, so she won’t be in danger. But you know MJ..she still gets into danger. LOL!
