It's not any better for other domestic OEMs. Steering wheel coming off on a model Y and yokes disintegrating. Euro cars are solid until you go to take them apart and clips/plastic exit the chat. It is what it is, no brand is immune, if you work on cars long enough you'll figure this out too.

Wow! Had my 2021 for about 25,000 miles now, northeast plow truck so I often use the diff lock / 4x4, never once had this issue mine feels super solid! Sitting in the truck now and gave it a few yanks for the hell of it and I can't pull mine off!

There were a lot of trucks sitting in lots waiting on parts during the government mandated shortages. My guess is this truck was one of them and when they went to put it together the second time, clips broke or fell off.

Careful... GM full size trucks are at the very bottom reliability-wise in Consumer Reports. That said, full size trucks have the worst reliability overall as a class too.

That’s a ford issue in general. They care about getting the vehicle off the assembly line and shipped and consider any quality issues to be the consumer and dealerships problem later on.

the way god intended or just completely pull off the trim / dash piece if it has no function and throw it in the bed for later disposal many a fuse cover has vanished forever same with hub caps.

Question i have a 2021 f150 lariat fx5 Powerboost. Talking to a coworker he recommended putting it into 4h/4l every so often as to keep it from locking up or something along those lines, since its in 2w for most of the time here in ny .Should putting on the rear locker also be done every so often?

I wouldn't get a 23 as bad as they look. But I would hold off on a HO until you can see if it will be reliable, being that it is something brand new

I know the turbos are water cooled on the HO and I believe some additional components as well. There’s a video of an engineer discussing the upgrades, I believe on TFL.

Wow, I need to check mine and see if it does that but I also need to know how to get the radio bezel off so I can add my screen protector does it just pop off when you pull it like that? Are there screws anywhere holding it on on the 22 f250 platinum tremor models? I have looked and cannot find anything on the 22 models. The other models I seen you pop the B&O screen off the top and there’s like 2 7 mm screws but I don’t feel any of those Arod any help would be greatly appreciated🤘🏻

I don't generally stick up forbFord as im more of a GM guy...however it's pretty obvious to me that the owner or some driver of that truck clearly had no idea that they were supposed to only turn that knob. They probably continued to pull on it like a fool until something snapped. It only takes one fool to ruin everything nice.

My o9 f150 never has done that since new. I would most definitely take my 09 f150 and 06 explorer over the current models of these two vehicles when it comes to long term ownership costs and over all reliability/dependability.

Gorilla tape or Velcro should take care of that problem. See if you can sneak a little behind there. You try to pull the whole thing loose it might break some more. I've owned about five f-150s including an SVT lightning. The plastic interior pieces are just not that durable. Sad to say!

I can't believe that's how they build these ultra expensive trucks. It looks like a base model Ford in there. Cheap plastic everywhere. There's a big difference between lazily engineered luxury features and an actual luxury vehicle.
