This show is the only adults turned kids trope I'll tolerate. It was incredibly entertaining. It was also the first time in years fred and velma were used in the scooby franchise, and they were by far the two best characters of the show

I actually really like this iteration. It's one of the only cartoons where the adults are younger and it actually worked. The characters feel far more expressive and adorable, the running jokes are decent enough to get a good laugh at times, and I just love how in every episode, Fred puts the blame on this kid literally named red herring, only for him to be right in one episode where Fred is forced not to blame red herring. I also love how whenever Fred blames red, the other characters or even red himself have to tell Freddy that red did nothing wrong in the episode, from calling Freddy from outta town while on vacation, to sending him a letter all the way to a mountain, to teleporting in after messing around with a device, to even the Characters reminding him that red herring isn't even in the episode. And speaking of Fred, while he's no wild card of interests who loves traps, here, he was definitely an upgrade to the white bread adult Fred we had for a while, but will still never be as funny as Fred cussing out the audience because they asked him why he has an ascot.

Shaggy is somehow even funnier in this iteration than he was in the 70's. Velma is just so charming and adorable she puts literally every other Velma to shame since she's really likeable in this one, whereas the others she's either boring, or at least a tad unlikeable. And of course, Fred is awesome, he's definitely the funniest part of A Pup named Scooby-Doo.
