I have mixed feelings about this series. I gave the art style and character changes a chance and enjoyed much of them. However, I found the series just could not commit in terms of character development, making it feel inconsistent, and sometimes dropped promising plot developments too abruptly.

This is the best tmnt animated show blends the humor of the 80s, the seriousness of the 03 series (minus fast forward and back to the sewer),has awesome takes on characters from both the comics and 80s show, and hands down the most evil version of shredder, this is the tmnt show I come back to when I want some tmnt goodness

Man I know I’m late to the party but this show seriously needs a reboot with the surge in chef culture since the shows debut and the popularity of food based anime. A revisit to this universe would be a banger.

This was a good series. It got a LOT of back lash from fans for making April a teenage girl and not an adult and changing a bunch of other stuff. So remember when fans hate on black people or women its not racist its just hate on changes fans hate change.
