It was 19k brand new (2020 LX). See used ones (LX) asking $15-20k with 40-60k miles. EX even more. That is an even better car than a Civic, imo. Easy to drive and even easier to park. It looks tiny but is roomy, and it's a hatch.

All wheel drive available on all hybrids in 2026 model year. If you set up individual drive mode you can eliminate the fake shifting noise in sport. Had mine a few months, excellent car. My sedan is assembled in Canada. I prefer the Continental tires they include on the sedan. Hatch is a bit heavier from the rear door and its 4" shorter. Sedan gets a cnt hair better mpg. Only the Type R can beat it 0-60, the Si lags behind slightly but comes in manual.

Sad to see Honda is going with wider factory tire sizes. Honda historically were great snow cars in part because they only used 205’s which is better for a car in that weight range in snow. 235s are better for a 3500-4500lb SUV or minivan.

I had a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with the K20c2 NA and a 6 speed manual as well. The car no doubt would last hundreds of thousands of miles, but it was so painfully slow that it struggled on certain uphill sections and freeways here in CA. Sold it paid off at 12k miles. If you want reliability that’s the combo you want for sure, but simply for commuter reasons as it is super slow.

It’s not easy getting in and out of modern sedans, especially if you have back issues, etc. And with the low profile tires on a lot of sedans when you have bumps or dips I see a lot of sedans almost have to come to a stop to negotiate them.

Wife and I are in our low 40s and will likely never own another sedan due to it just being easier. It's always been a better financial move for the young to buy used, let someone else take that upfront depreciation. The trend of new car buyers being older and wealthier than the average has been around for a long time now. It's also too expensive for the manufacturer to sell cheap small cars here in the US, that's why they're all getting discontinued here but still sold everywhere else (even in the EU where regulation is rampant).

The Honda "Jazz" (Fit) is a wonderful car. Feels huge, parks anywhere. We had one when we were living in Istanbul and it was wonderful for parking in tiny spaces. Every night when we got home and had to start the hunt for a parking space it was a bonus to be in that car. Plus the space under the rear seat !!!!! The way you could flip that rear seat up to make the back useful! I know you're not into EVs much but I'd love an EV version of that car. Unfortunately there would be nowhere to fit batteries I expect.

Once you wrap your brain around hybrid drive you'll understand that it's much more elegant and simple than an old school automatic. Most of the gearing is done with magnetism. The engine is pulling on the drive motors with magnetism to add torque. No physical connection to the wheels. Seems crazy at first but it's so smart. Toyota figured out Synergy drivetrains twenty-five years ago. It's neat stuff.

4:00 The 'pause' in the brakes might be because of regen breaking. The first 10-15% of the brake pedal might only be doing regen before the actual physical brakes kick in. It takes a bit getting used to, but it works out. Plus, if you change your driving habits, you end up using the regen for most of the braking power, and your pads last way longer.

You missed one VERY important feature. It's right behind the parking brake button. It's called "brake hold". What it does is when you turn it on it will hold the brakes on when you've come to a stop. You can literally take your for off the brake pedal and the car will stay stationary and then when you should the gas it let's off the brake. They have it in many models. I have it in my Accord. It is amazing. I have nerve damage in my right hip. The simple act of moving my right foot from gas to brake can be somewhat painful. This is very helpful. After I've come to a stop I can move my foot back to a less painful position.

I would like to see you review the Civic sedan LX. These Civics with the relatively low-tech 2.0 liter are potentially sound long-term cars and/or future used cars. I own a 2016 HRV (116,000 miles) and a 2014 Civic (180,000 miles) since new with the 1.8 liter engine versions, and they have been very reliable. They, however, are manual transmissions that you cannot get in the new ones. The six-speed in the HRV has much better gears and is more fun to drive. Top gear rpm's are identical on the highway where the aerodynamics of the sedan shows up in significantly higher gas mileage.

Awesome review Sarah ! It needs a 3rd Fun Pedal 6 Speed Manual Transmission, and a Rip it Parking Brake 👨🏻👍🏻🏎🏎🏁🏁🚩🚩🌲🌲⛰⛰🧗🏻 Honda should make a New MR2, and an S2000 with the Features I had Mentioned

Nice too see Hybrids still being made. I would rather have a hybrid then all electric.

Been waiting for SIT’s take on this. Just rented a 25’ Camry hybrid se (sporty) and want to test this one out for future DD. Have a 04’ Camry with 200k+ and it’s still going. So not sure when I can feel justified to upgrade. Go Sarah !

HNY MISS SARAH, As an old fart, with limited range now. Yes my Miata days are gone. I need the SUV seat height to slide in n out. I can not lift myself up to get out of a low car seat height. As in the past. You are still very young n healthy so you don't have to worry about that. Love your videos. SGT DOUG, RECON, 101ST, RVN 68-69 LZ SALLY. LOVE FROM THAILAND.

THANK YOU, SARA! THANK YOU! I've been saying this for years, that is, it makes NO SENSE to get a crossover or SUV unless you work in construction, on a ranch, or in an oil field (jobs SUVs were originally designed for). If you are a commuter, nothing beats sedans or coupes.... Sigh... Rant over.

If you have babies the suv and pickups sit higher . Making it ez putting car seats in . Plus they are way easier to exit . That said I love cars better .

I don't know if any of the prior 259 people who commented wondered why you backed onto your new lift, but this inquiring mind wishes to know. Do like the extendable pointer too, but have to re-watch to see how far it extended.

The backseat vent is for the hybrid battery like the Prius. It needs to be cleaned occasionally and NEVER covered.

I'm very thankful to have watched the install and as well as the 1400 lbs of car it also lifted my spirits. They'be been weighing my down of late. The turmoil here in the UK tends to burden everyone so thanks for... A, the install and B, the first reveiw on the lift...appreciate it Sarah...
