Fun fact about the red and white amalgamation of wrath and metal: it possesses a special gem, seen in its UP animation. That is the reason it is as it is. Along with the heavy, heavy implication that it (the Chaos Crystal, the name of the gem) makes it (the abomination) stronger than its original white and blue identity. So unless one possesses some sort of power that resembles even a fraction of the monstrosity possesses, a closed casket funeral will be the only reasonable option. And I doubt it would be a quick end.
