Warner Bros could easily make a superman game with rocksteady but what they probably meant by it being too ambitious is the game would be difficult to balance because superman is almost invincible. what rocksteady could do is that superman gets poisoned with krpytonite and that he can take damage from enemies but still use his powers.

To make a really good and challenging Superman game it would be necessary to add a “limit” to a limitless character: For example, adding consequences to recklessness. Making players conscious of how to properly use powers. Making players truly feel the weight of being Superman and still have to decide who to save, what challenges to embrace and so on.

This is very impressive and ambitious so far, while the mechanics and animations are certainly very impressive, it still needs _a lot_ of work to become a good game and not a glorified tech test. I'm really hoping this doesn't suffer the same fate as many other solo indie projects and never get much further than what we're being shown here/being abandoned.

I saw someone comment about putting Superman on a different planet so it would justify destroying things. That would be awesome the first part of the game is on that planet where you’re still learning how to control Superman. A punch quick enough to compress air boosting its power would still be a power one could attribute to Superman, even if we hadn't seen him do it (we have). Yo a game for both sides you can be city saver or a city destroyer in both gameplay you encounter pretty much the same bosses and enemies but when you are bad they work for government and when you are good they are the criminals. Also making the activity change, like when you acting good ppl will cheer you up and help you find side quests but when you are bad, people will run away or even will be a city lockdown that means even less ppl to interact and kill. It can be indicate by blood on hands (very metaphorical) and can be change by helping people and saving them Great game preview i would be glad to see it on pc and consoles either way :)

I'm really glad that the developer is working on this game still, this guy proved there can be a superman game and didn't need a huge billion dollar company to help him. The start was perfect! On that simulated level, the Lazer, the flying just looked soo smooth and accurate!! Then the demo version at the end looked glitchy, clanky, rough, and like what we have seen before with other games! Using the same clap your hand move as the hulk...if it's like the first half of this video...take my money 👍🏻

Just what i was thinking! The flying in that test area looked amazing and smooth. But in the actual game he pulls his leg up and becomes awkward. I would easely pay to play that first demo section for sure!. Would be cool if he could go do that burst through the soundbarrier thing like in the xbox360 game. And make him go from face first flying to his iconic fists in front of him fying pose. Just some thought 😅.

This was released on Steam in 2019. And its not a full-scale game, its just a project made by this one developer for his thesis. It is a cool game tho, despite being a little repetitive, it's still very fun to fly around the city.
