The reason why TJOC is so scary is because they give a different theme, and a different need of strategy every level. This makes it scary because you can’t keep a exact strategy for every level. You need to keep making different strats. And how animatronics have different traits and weaknesses you have to battle. That’s why it’s so scary. Like for instance level one you were a kid in a crib trying to fend off the animatronics from a door, window, and a closet with different mechanics for each animatronic. Then this level is totally different. You need to close doors but only ONE door can close, and you have to flash at golden freddy WHILE watching creation. The change in layout,strats, animatronic behavior, and mechanism of TJOC is really thought out and really put in consideration of how it can be more scary

The reason why the main antagonist screams at the end is because Michael actually took over his body and disguised himself as the main antagonist. *End Explained* Michael, as in Mike Schmidt as he claims himself to be in the Attic, is alive. Whatever brought Mike, the Ignited's, and the lore relations to FNaF where brought into existence with supernatural means. Mike says he feels amazing. He isn't just some identity the player has when playing FNaF. He is alive and isn't just the animatronic's target anymore. The only reason he wants to kill Scott is because, well he made him with the soul purpose of being a blank slate. Scott had the idea's around to make TSE and SL. Infact given how all the games shown are only FNAF 1-4, we can assume TSE now exists and the concepts for SL exist. I have a theory. Mike Schmidt hasn't just become himself. He's the Mike that we see in TSE. Why? He has golden eyes. Anything under the name Mike has now formed into Real Mike. The animatronics. I believe they aren't just "animatronic's" brought to life. They can appear in multiple places at once and Chica can phase through WALLS. Michael is described as looking like he "escaped from a bon fire". All the animatronics came from this fire(hence "ignited"). What if...these creatures are demons? They don't refer to themselves(the monitors in the basement) as animatronics. They are sort of...evil creatures that manifest themselves at Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy. They all came from a fire in the middle of the forest, a place where paranormal activity was sighted. And so Michael kills Scott. Or...replaces him. Remember SL? One of the main attributes of SL is that the protag is worn by a endoskeleton. But as time progresses...FNaF is slowly coming to life. Michael says it's HIS game now, so Scott is no longer the creator. So, at the end, what we hear escaping the fire isn't Scott. It's "Ennard". The smoking gun? The slow mechanical glitching in his voice towards the end. So Scott and Mike switched places. Scott is now a robotic monster, and Michael is in control of the games now. And what does he do? He cancels it.
