Id love to see you try a hair rig for the carp. It's deceptively easy to tie them and they work incredibly well for my local carp fishing

Never tried it before! From the little I watched on KZbin about people fishing for carp in Europe seems like a standard there and highly effective!

I have a spot a few blocks away from where i live that I have only caught one fish per "session" but the channel cats are usually over twenty pounds. All about 4:15 am. I went the other day and caught two for the first time ever. They were both just over fourteen pounds. I'm going out again this morning so I'm old and going to bed early.

A channel over 20 is well worth the wait! Sounds like a good spot! Not easy to find a place that is really consistent, especially with big fish.
