PROPANE HEATERS ARE GREAT, BUT THEY GIVE OFF TONS OF MOISTURE, WHEN THAT AIR TOUCHES THE WALLS OF THE TENT IT FREEZES, WHEN IT GETS WARMER IT RAINS, THE NEW DIESEL HEATERS (DEPENDING ON HOW YOU PLUMB THEM) WON'T ICE UP THE INSIDES, I GOT A DIESEL HEATER BUT HAVEN'T TRIED IT IN A FISH HOUSE, I DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO GIVE ME ENOUGH HEAT.... TRY A WOOD STOVE, THEY ARE WORK HORSES' BUT YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BRING A PILE OF WOOD, YOU WON'T GET THE SWEATING OR LEAVE THE VENTS OPEN WHEN YOU USE PROPANE...

No matter, either way. A slight twist can m keep the straps from vibrating in heavy winds.

Cast, they are super realistic and super immitated to a pike. I’m from and live in England and on my local river and lakes I know that may get smashed by a pike
@608fishing7 күн бұрын
They for sure get bites! They are soft so pike will tear them up, but a destroyed lure from too many bites is a good problem to have 😂

Would you recommened pool 8 or 9? I have a 2 hr drive and I plan on fishing tomorrow for the first time. Any recommended launchpoints?
@608fishing8 күн бұрын
I haven’t fished pool 9 very often so I would be biased towards pool 8. There are loads of good fishing opportunities from Onalaska, La Crosse, Stoddard, and to Genoa. I would go to a local bait shop to see what has been biting and they give pretty good advice. There are a ton of people that ice fish that area, so most “honey holes” are pretty easy find and give a general idea of where fish are. Then you just have to narrow it down from there. Good luck and hope you catch some big ones!

Site fishing in eight feet of water, the big gills would come up and look at my jig, maybe bump my jig. Then one of those little guys would swoop in at high speed and nail my jig. Now and then could get a big 8-9-inch bluegill to bite. However, the smaller gills are a problem.
@608fishing12 күн бұрын
Very true! The big ones got that way for a reason, they aren’t dumb.
