Best way to get batches at the store you're sitting at is to turn your phone on airplane mode for a min then back off it resets your connection to the nearest tower and gives you better speed . The batches you see are given out by rating, distance to store, and internet speed. Don't use crappy service you won't ever see anything because the seconds that it takes to load someone's faster phone has already seen the batch and snagged it .

yeah! I definetly do that trick with the airplane mode... I use Verizon so I think it's pretty good?

@@HowToHustleHappier download a speed tester and test your speed when sitting at different stores the faster the speed the better chance of seeing more batches. Do not invest in WiFi for your car because they all suck 😅 alot of the mobile hotspots claim 5g but when you run a speed test is more lije 20 to 30 mbps which is like basic 3/4g

Also, to get bettet batches: wearing something green for good luck, praying deeply to you favorite god, wearing a charm specially crafted for instacart… come on guys it shouldn’t be such a hustle. The app is overcrowded, people and bots equally.

@@danmagnumxl I get batches all day I have no idea why you don't 🤷🏻‍♂️ even with the oversaturation and the bots I get my Costco shopping in daily and not the batches that no one wants to do ...the 30 dollar 8 items 3 miles batches to the 50, 60, 70 ,80 90 dollar batches. If your area is oversaturated I suggest you move from the store you're seeing 10 shoppers at and go to the one that's slightly further away. No praying done here just work

@@homegrownhydroponics8205 A lot of its going to depend on your area... Just because you're seeing these batches doesn't mean everyone else is. Granted I'm not too sure about the wearing green for luck stuff, but I can definitely see the difference from a few months ago... It's slowed down considerably here. Batches over $50 to $60 are lucky to make it past the notification to my list. I've seen maybe 3 $100 batches since I started early this year. Only one made it to my list and it was gone before I could even tap on it. Some days are good, but others are slow. Most days I average about $20 to $25 an hour. While some days I'm struggling for $15... Some days are quick and done while other days I spend driving from the only Costco to stores 20 plus minutes away for the $30 batches. Sure beats the $12 to $25 Costco batches with 15 plus mile deliveries. Which are doubles most of the time.

Yes, location is definitely screwy with IC... I can sit at QT .5 mes down the road and it says I'm .3 miles away. Sitting in the parking lot it says I'm .75 miles away. Honestly, I don't see a big difference in either area. Either the batches show or they don't. On weekdays they drop at 10am or within 10 minutes. Better be paying attention when they do. You have a few seconds and the good ones are gone. There's a Walmart about 17 minutes away that has decent paying batches. For some reason I always have some issue at that particular Walmart. Anyhow, hang in there, it's definitely slower in some areas. I'm guessing it will pick back this fall and winter 😊

I live a 5-10 min. drive from a bunch of stores, and sitting here staring at my empty screen. Instacart, you are something else. But Idk, my rating is inexplicably 4.56, which is practically the trashcan by Instacart standards, so here I am lol

I had frozen dog treats on a batch before as a shopper. It was by the ice … side note: you said $10 tips are not your thing? What do you look for in general? My goal is $10-15 average tip per person. I mean if it’s 50 items and $20 I’m not taking it of course but just saying my average goal.

I would prefer to make $30+ per batch which usually means more than a $10 tip. Honestly depends how I’m feeling tho😂

@@HowToHustleHappier 😂 I got ya…makes sense. I have a rule of $1 per item at grocery stores and $0.50 per item at a wholesale store. But yeah like I get a double for like 25 items for $30 I snatch cuz that’s basically a $10 per person tip and easy shop. I think that’s what I meant. Best wishes out there. Being 1 mile or less from store hun helps you get more lucrative batches if and if there's plenty of demand your rating is high with 5 being the best chances. In my area if I'm looking at home I see batches from Costco but there lower paying ones. When I go to the Costco parking lot I see 70+ on most days not everyday. People are tipping less there are less generous customers than during the pandemic. Turning and burning lower paying batches is the best way to make money now unfortunately. Lastly only in Seattle Washington do i see big batches throughout the day we must adjust 🙂

Yes there always exceptions tho as I got a $100 tip order from my house one time… it’s rare though😂 I do agree people are tipping less. If I ever come to seattle I wanna turn my app on just to see what batches I see I’m so curious!
