I agree Hansen has a nice voice but I hate the fact Lou wrote and sang these songs with Mick and now Mick's on his 3rd new lead singer. Zeppelin and the Beatles would never do what Mick has. Its like replacing Plant, Jagger, Lennon, etc..... Makes me sick to be honest

I have always loved Foreigner, from my very early 20’s! One of my friends, at the time, introduced me to the 80’s bands/music. He was 3 years older than me. I was quite naive to Life, I think. We eventually had 4 Children together…parted ways and the rest is what it is. I have never actually heard, this live version of the song, before now, 14.3.24. lol, I am a natural redhead, now going, white, so started laughing when I heard the comments from Foreigner at the beginning.. and no, definitely not me, that walked in! I’m now 62, still loving this group and songs as much as when I was early 20’s. So, THANK YOU, So Much, FOREIGNER, the melody for my soul! Love, from Australia x

This song connected with me in the heart felt truth that a boy & I grew up across the street from each other & he always looked out and protected me. He was there to run interference when boys would approach me. He later enlisted as a Marine for the Vietnam War and returned to become a NJ State Trooper. We reunited briefly as I had moved across town but my Dad gave him a reference to be a trooper. As fate has it we met up in 1980 at a wedding and it was God’s Blessing to me to meet the girl he married and learn they were having their 3rd child. That was the last time I saw Phil. He was gunned down in a routine traffic stop on Rt. 80 in NJ - he was outgunned out manned and the world lost a true American Hero that day. His children so young never got to know the Phil I knew. The killers got life in jail after a decade on the run. They have since died in jail, but the horror of that day and the loss of that guardian angel Trooper will never leave ,my soul or heart, As I approached the church where his celebration of life was being honored, this song Waiting for A Girl Like You came on the radio. I blasted it on my car radio as I approached the service with thousands of State Trooper Cars on the side of the road who paid their respects to this Trooper of The Year. My point is this - the law enforcement officers who protect and serve to keep us safe have lives and families. There should be zero tolerance to any idiot who even tries to hurt, sue or call foul when they are being pulled over. If we don’t have these law enforcement hero’s to protect us - we are all sitting ducks to the now termed terrorists. IT IS NOT OK TO DISRESPECT POLICE OFFICERS - THE LAW NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO COVER ANY EFFORT THE POLICE TAKE TO PROTECT US. Yes there are a few hot dogs out there who will be dealt with, but I want the people who protect me to not be sued or compromised by second guessing law when they are answering a call that may indeed cost them their lives. PLEASE SUPPORT THOSE WHO PROTECT US. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DISRESPECT OF FIRST RESPONDERS. Support the heart of it.
