Melodie I really like your music. I will pray for you about God's vocation in your life. I am a Religious Brother in the Catholic Church and I have the greatest joy in being totally devoted to God by living the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. God calls some people to be only for himself even on this earth. I will still pray for you that God will hear your prayers. God bless!

I actually had to research who were the leaders at Passion 2020 looking for your name only to come across this video. I was so drawn to your spirit on the stage. I'm don't really follow Christian music as a Nashville songwriter writing country, but none the less here I am. Melodie I am sure there is a very lucky man in your future if you have not already found him by now. A righteous woman is more precious than rubies. Proverbs 31:10.

I was married for 17 years and my wife turned her back on me and went to live with her mother after I had an argument with her. I don’t understand why this happened, but I know that God has someone better for me, and also a Christian because my previous wife did not know the Lord. It’s been a big burden to carry, but I know I have to keep trusting in the Lord.

i need i guess to write something i don't know why, but think God wants me to. I was searching for new singing from Melodie and saw this. i am 50 years old seems to me i am way younger my spirit at least as what i use to thin 50 would be like. Renewed right human spirit refreshing of The Holy Spirit Christ in me the expectation of Glory, forgetting how great time of when a church service they let God move, Him in control, sitting there in the presence of The Holy Spirit i just want to stay not leave, i don't care about if i get married, in times past, in that atmosphere, i just want to be in the presence of God then sitting there, don't understand why people up talking "do they not want God to have more more more of God?" i don't know it is judging. maybe they needed the fellowship yes, i have been pretty much a loner, no fitting in physical issues don't think now there would be someone who would put up with my issues, that is not true, i try not to think about it ask God to take away the desires, still there, hurts at times, i don't need a married person counseling me about being single never? did, 50 years old now. They have their own troubles we all do, spiritual things, the world climate, false labor pains? baby moving down, maybe before the time of Jacob's trouble (sorrow as when a woman is in labor, 7 year tribulation, but we all have tribulation married unmarried)Every person's story is unique so i do not believe much at all in people teaching to singles, a sermon for singles, like in single groups a married person trying to tell us to be content, or whatever, God has plans he often allows us to suffer for unknown reasons, including unfulfilled desires that are natural. i believe that in the Glory that is coming as with the times of in the presence of God so much in a church that doesn't preach unBiblical methods, but the cross and The Holy Spirit with anointed worship that we can then and at home have times we are in the Glory the presence of God so much that we are so completely fulfilled, and even can have that in times of lesser of that which we have all of us saved complete in Christ Jesus the Holy Spirit in us, and one day it will be that of in the Agape Love of God throughout all eternity much much greater relationships all complete, not missing out, no we are not missing out being single, forever in God's Glory and in i believe ministries throughout the eternal ages of God's great future for all, who accept Jesus as Savoir here in earth while there is still time, anyone can as long as they are alive here, its to late after a person dies to accept Jesus as Savior but anyone can or return to Jesus here still alive here on earth, most important thing. concerning marriage for me now, the grass is not greener on the other side if i were now married or had a lady friend like i've never much dated my whole life same with billions of others, many do not have Jesus like the lady at Jacob's well, not that things don't happen in Christian marriage, we don't ever arrive at being "ready" in a real sense for marriage, but each day yes we are led in this journey, not suppose to look back say what if i had been closer to God chosen better, followed God more, married people same thing in their journey together, no higher class. God loves us all grace is the road in Jesus, law demands Jesus changes us and is our life, God causes all things as i am turned to Him, to work right, no looking back at past failures what if's. not supose to. also i add you are very beautiful lady, Melodie, i love your singing also. Take care. i don't know of any scripture saying we are needing tobe as maturely ready, as those who are married, and so were not less mature, its just we are not married. shouldn't be judged we all have euique in ways journey, Jesus is or vine dresser pruning the married person branch and unmarried to produce His fruit, sola scriptura, much teaching is not based on scripture. Where the Spirit of the lord is the is Freedom from being unsatisfied yet we have as single peole things i do still of desire for lady, i don't know why i do still, but only God knows, i on't think someone should tell us why or what we should be doing to prepare , like were suppose to focus on us and God now as if those married aren't suppose to or theyve reached some higher place than us? Jesus never married.
