This is sooo good! I’m guilty of wanting to hear from God immediately after I pray because otherwise I feel like i’m doing something wrong and sometimes I get discouraged and doubt whether I will hear from Him at all when it comes to certain questions. I definitely need to work on learning to wait patiently on Him.

I've always wanted to hear God audibly. But he is teaching me to spend more time in His word. He speaks through his word mostly. But one time I had a dream from God that woke me up around 1am. That's when I knew I had to leave the toxic household I was living in with Sisters in Christ and I left quickly. The dream guided me to leave this toxic church and environment. And I feel free not trapped anymore because Jesus is all about freedom. Despite the pain I went through in that church I still pray for the church. :)

A lot of people are owning me and I kept praying about it and waiting for him to get it back and am getting impatient. The Pain I feel when I think about it is killing me and I want it to stop 😭😭

God woke me this morning. Not with a word, but I felt him sitting with me. So I started praying, expecting I would hear from God. I mean, he was sitting with me - so why wouldn't I expect Him to say something? It wasn't until you said, I have to rest while I'm waiting, that it dawned on me. Because God actually revealed something about myself, during this silent encounter. As He sat with me, I started by thanking Him for everything. After several minutes of silence though, I started praying about everything that was wrong with me, instead. Out came the long list of why he couldn't (or wouldn't) want to talk to me. Followed by my frustrating request, of what I had to do to make it right between us? What I perceived after this monologue of personal flaws, is that I didn't really accept Jesus died for my sins. If He said it was finished on the cross, and I was still dragging out my flaws - what did I really believe? I repented of my hypocrisy, and soberly remembered Christ had indeed paid the price, and subsequently finished my redemption. I returned to thanking God for everything, and all He is still yet to do. Maybe sometimes, God just wants to sit with us, so we can feed from his spiritual manna?

Yes! His presence IS enough. Jesus IS the Word even if He doesn’t speak. Think about how we can communicate with one another without words by touch, a look, body language etc… I’m happy to hear you are being with Him ❤

God is always speaking we have to ask him to meet us where we are. The Bible is him speaking and he can use an instagram post or a person. At 3 Am is when he normally wakes me
