It’s wake turbulence. The aircraft was doing a 360° turn and hit its own wake! We call those steep turns. He was most likely doing a 360 for spacing which is common
@aviatordiego4769
@aviatordiego4769 6 ай бұрын
@@mikehunter1483yeah no, if you’re maintaining your same altitude by the time you make the 360 the wake would’ve descended well below your glide path. Also I haven’t seen an airliner casually do a 360 under normal operations.
@mikehunter1483
@mikehunter1483 6 ай бұрын
@@aviatordiego4769 that’s 110% untrue because when I was in flight school we hit our own wake literally everytime we would do steep turns lol. It’s the best part of the maneuver.

@@robbiebunge859Ok so usually when first departing, the pilots will pitch up to maintain a certain speed in order to gain safe altitude (and noise abatement and other stuff and not overspeed the flaps). Normally at around 1000 to 1500 feet, depending on the departure procedure, climb thrust will be set and the plane will be pitched downward just slightly in order to start increasing speed to retract the flaps.

Inboard ailerons are *so* cool, man. These might be flaperons? At any rate…ever since I flew on a DC10 as a young kid, inboard ailerons just get my rocks off. Think about it we don't see birds just falling out of the sky every day. If a bird can fly then a half million kg plane can fly without falling just keep that in mind 😂 don't be scared it's called turbulent Eddies you can see turbulence in a falcon gliding in a wind gust. It's totally normal don't freak out. You would most likely die in the car on the way to the airport than in flight
