Do you feel this is the best groovebox ever made due to its size and portability?

It’s definitely up there. The workflow clicks with me & the portability is second to none. Plus I haven’t charged it yet, the battery is amazing.

Was the sample already chopped from the MPC or what did you do on the XY to chop it?

The MPC was not involved. The full sample was recorded into the XY and placed on about 6 keys. I then changed the start & end points on each key. The waveform shows each key playing its chop. You can adjust the start points on the fly to tweak it or change it up completely.
