Love the review but just to clarify: in Tennessee, lakes have their name first, then Lake after. Norris Lake, Fort Loudon Lake, etc. it’s different state by state but that’s how they are named in Tennessee.

I just got the 2018 SE and wished I got the SL but there were not anymore build slots. SE is a sick boat though... Took the SE out yesterday and only thing I have done was add Enzo bags. Wave was blahhh and water was cold. Need to dial this in.... you are the man, anyway I can get your two cents on the best way to set this boat up for the best wake?

How do all of the wake boat companies compet? Like what is the difference between Mastercraft, Supra, Moomba and any others?

Each of them have a different approach to the same goal: make the best wakes and waves. Everyone has their own r&d teams for what they think is the best. Everyone has different surf tabs and software to make a wave. Most have touch screens and rider profiles. Also the ballast numbers change between the boats as well. And overall some boats are just higher quality than others. Hope this helped

Its called PUNT, by StickyBumps. Its VERY sticky, like chewing gum, so make sure you get the remover as well. Have fun!

I'm just hoping to one day get a chance to experience a wave like that! I have a Yamaha jet boat now but I got bit by the surf bug last year and will be getting a vdrive as my next boat. The surf bug is expensive :D Love y'alls vids and cool the see the kids grow and their skills improve over the years on this channel.

Check out the moomba max or moomba craz. Those boats have the same underlying surf system available, the wave is not quite the level of the SL, but especially max, makes an amazing wave for half the price.

I got a chance to check out the Moomba Max at the boat show today. There is a freaking TON of storage space on this boat. The compartments and rear storage lockers were so deep. I spoke with Dan who works at the Moomba/Supra factory in TN. He was very nice and happy to go over the whole boat with me. I was super impressed with it for the price. Boats near the same "budget wake boat" price range where nowhere near the same level of craftsmanship IMHO. The AutoWake 2 and Flow 2.0 surf system looked like they throw a nice wave on the videos they were showing. Dan told me the lower hulls are near the same on the Moombas as the Supra and after looking at it they do look similar. Hope it drives real nice. I signed up for some demo rides in the spring and can't wait to check it out on the water!!

The max has a great wake, and that boat can take a ton of weight, and still have lots of room, it is cavernous inside.

Ruston Edwards Yes. And I did love that wave. The wave on these last two Supras have been superior, and beyond that the boat and the engineering are superior. The SL wave is much better and honestly I did not think it could be that much better but it really is. Don’t take my word for it go demo one.

I have to say the surf wave behind this boat is lame, not lots of push and it's soft. I own a 2018 sl 450 and after 2 months it's for sale, and wakeboarding if you have full stock ballast and 4-5 people good luck getting it on plane. This is a nice boat but the wave and wake are on the beginner size. This is my 3rd and last supra. Two thumbs down

Ugh no one cares about the surf wave. It's all about wakeboarding. If you can wake surf and weigh 400lb than I dont think it takes much skill. Grow a pair and go wakeboard.

i know right or ski. blows me away how much these boats cost just to go 9 mph so you can cruise behind it... i ski and wakeboard btw. people these days just seem to be getting more lazy. btw i got to ride this boat for surf demo with some friends. I didnt have time to grab my wakeboard but assumed the pro rep would have some....nope just surf boards...
