I used to wake up not being able to breathe when I was 4 the doctors fixed that but then my nose started bleeding everyday and I would wake up in blood. I was at school once and my nose started bleeding at lunch but I didn't notice . I got blood in my lunch almost every month up to 6 grade. I went to class with blood on my hands and I think people thought I murdered someone 😂

😭😭😭😭 is this how my mom feels . She scares the crap out of me checking on me and shaking me to see if I'm alive . I have seizures that will affect different parts of my body . At one point I couldn't walk , couldn't talk , couldn't eat , couldn't open my mouth...now it's in my throat . Breathing m swallowing and speaking is difficult and frustrating for both of us ...she's worrying all the time and I just feel helpless and like a burden especially since I'm 21 and still at home bugging her 😔

I had sleep apnea from 5-11 I eventually grew out of it but I would have to go to regular stays st the hospital to be monitored and at sometimes I would get less than 40% oxygen so I had a sleep ap machines n my mum would have to stay with my whilst I slept as I would stop breathing

My daughter Zophia...is basically just like this child. All the same problems, and surgeries and same regrowth. Zophia sleeps with me now....every night. She's only 7 and won't want to sleep with me forever but for now it's how we do it. Before she had her diagnosis I used to wake up from a dead sleep when she stopped breathing and run into her room. Because of the obstructive sleep apnea she snored like a freight train, when the snoring stopped I'd wake and run to her because it meant she wasn't breathing anymore. We tried the CPAP machine but my daughter tosses and turns at night too much, imagine my terror the night I went to check on her and found her knotted in the tubing turning blue. Upon speaking with her ENT I threw the damned thing in the closet and haven't taken it back out since. I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in over 6 years. It's slowly killing me I'm sure, but it's what I have to do until she calms down and sleeps without running marathons in her dreams. Once she settles down in a few years (I hope) we can try the CPAP again. In the mean time I should probably keep buying stocks in coffee...I'm pretty sure I'm making the stock market sore for coffee, sugar, and cream just trying to stay awake from 6 AM until 10PM.

I have a service dog that tells me when my heart is about to stop. I have a device that I put on my self when it stops so I don’t die but before it stops I have shortness of breath and before the service dog I used to gasp for air but couldn’t get it the service dog will tell me before that happens

Half of this story is mine! I had sleep apnea and when I got my tonsils and adenoids removed I was 3. Sleep apnea was gone for me! Also the one hospital gown with the tigers on it I wore the same fabric instead it was in pants form. I used them the second time I broke my leg. 😶

Oh wow.. I got hit in the head with a golf club once by my own brother and I was like 6 or 7, and for the amount of blood I was surprisingly calm. I never blacked out, and I stopped crying as soon as I got in the car to go to the hospital. I still have a gnarly scar on my forehead. I can't imagine seeing someones bone, though.
