My daughter was asked by her boss where she learned how to do all the things she is so gifted at doing. She replied, the church! I worked for my pastor and all his family with her by my side as she homeschooled. She was involved in every aspect of ministry as a young girl.

I love this! When God said He is going to help us with His righteous right hand, I was reminded that Jesus is now seated at the right hand of the Father. This is a foreshadow of what was to come. Jesus is the help that He sent! Many of my fears are overcome by reminding myself that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

What does it say in the Bible that the term " Pastor" means and what is that persons role? If Jesus is the Shepard then how can any man be a pastor( in the context we use it in)? We are His sheep not a flock of any man. My question is. What is a Biblical pastor? And how is the term being misused or used correctly in our society today. According to the Biblie, not social norms. This has been on my heart for years and gives me anxiety when I hear anyone calling themselves the title pastor. ( I do understand the term pastor is in the Bible but feel it is being misused. Like how the term "church" is being misused to label buildings when it's actually a body of people) Thank you

Yes! My husband worked in a business for nearly 40 years alongside many of our nephews. He usually gave the higher positions that became available to the men who had earned them and not to our nephews. The nephews would be upset but in time respected him and loved my husband dearly for making the right choices. They all worked for my husband their entire working lives. He did not have a big turnover at all but instead a very loyal group of men. That has been our personal experience! I hope that is helpful.
