Don Oakley, why you decided that there's more than one bubble of awareness? In fact there's only one bubble of awareness - it's your bubble, no one else was never aware. Because there's no one else. You imagining everyone and everything, including other "bubbles" of awareness from imaginary non-existing others.

I must not have been clear. My use of the image of a personalized bubble of awareness is what the ego may imagines when first encounters awareness. This tendency is probably a residual belief left over from being taught that consciousness is a function of brain cells. However, when awareness is truly seen for the formless presence that it is, it can be seen that awareness is without boundary and is undifferentiated. It is as you say only one awareness. That there is even one is extraordinarily improbable and magnificent! And then we get to the second part of your comment: that everything and everyone else is imaginary. I suggest that it is not the solid external world that we assumed it was, but the world and others and indeed our own body/mind are all as real or imaginary as anything else in the world of form, so the words and distinctions lose their meaning. Without categorizing the appearances arising within awareness, they simply are as they are. Neither real or imaginary. Neither myself or other. Simply what is happening without the conceptual overlay. Although there is no way to know with certainty, it certainly appears that the one awareness is functioning as and through all of these others as well. Best wishes, Don

@@donoakley "no way to know with certainty" is a dogmatic assumption, such as "consciousness is a function of brain cells", you can know with 100% certainty, because everything you've ever experienced was your own awareness, nothing else. And when I say yours, I mean mine, because I clearly realize that my awareness is the only one that exists. And it is not even mine, it is just is. Which brings me to the point that everything in this world, including you, is me as much as I consider my personality to be me. There is only one mind, which divides itself into its main part, from the point of view of which it perceives itself and its other parts, which it labels as “others”, and "other". The dialogue that is happening between us now is a dialogue of one mind, which is trying to form a support in a new worldview. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm not sure of anything anymore, it all seems a little crazy to me.
