*EDIT: Finally found time to see some of AHS Roanoke - Lady Gaga is a dynamo!!!* I wish she'd do more comedy - it's actually the most difficult genre to master & she's brilliant at it. From some of her videos, it's obvious she's got a sense of humor. I was kind of disappointed in her performance in AHS Hotel. Yeah she looked stunning & has amazing presence (duh) but it wasn't like bloody brilliant. I get she was nominated for awards & got one, but even little sketches such as this reflect so much more depth of character. Perhaps it was the script or maybe directing? Lots of screen time & an amazing wardrobe don't make the role happen. Her talent didn't really seem to glow in AHS. The Countess actually got on my nerves after awhile. I totally give her props, but I'm looking forward to see what she can do with A Star is Born.

I wish Nasim had stayed at SNL. She is pretty and she is so good at impressions! Unfortunately, she got lured away from SNL when she got offered a starring role in John Mulaney's new Prime Time tv show... but then that new show flopped (not her fault, Nasim herself was great!) and was cancelled. She could have stayed on SNL for as long as she wanted but like many SNL stars Nasim wanted to launch her regular acting career instead of staying on the comedy sketch show. Now she is on some other shows like The New Girl but it's not exactly what Nasim had in mind when she voluntarily gave up her permanent spot in the SNL cast.
