Thanks! Great thing about the Saturn Is it grows with your colony. You could just use one test tube to start ad add more then they need more nest space! Our Pheidole have never got on well in standard nests but always thrived in testtubes so this setup was perfect for them :) Thanks for watching!

This is such a good video! Well done sadie 🤙🏼 I bet the little ones super pleased the setup looks wicked too. Just as i was thinking about lighting for the tubes you mentioned they weren’t fussed 😂 my lasius.n colony is the same they only get skittish from vibration the light doest phase them at all! But yeah super cool video guys!

Thank you! I totally agree! Defo saves space! cause imagine if the nest space was next to it, it would take up twice the amount of shelf space lol I think the Saturn is awesome! Would be great for you with temp changes, cause if its on a heat mat the tube temps would have a gradient, so if it got too hot they could just move up Thanks for watching!

@@allantsuk8974 I think this setup is AWESOME!!! We have struggled with the Pheidole so much, everytime we offered them a nest they would move in fine then within a week 90% would die at least! so the Saturn was the obvious choice! they are going amazing! thanks for watching

I felt the same lol used all the red covers and black outs etc But I’ve a few colonies in the Saturn nests now and all doing awesome, even seen messors thrive in them. I don’t cover any of my colonies any more and are all doing great. Plus you saw for yourself in the video that when I I went into the dark room and turned on the light and flash light they didn’t care at all! Vibrations on the other hand and they go crazy lol Thanks for watching 😊🐜🐜🐜🐜
