You don't have to put ka every time if your tone of voice is questioning. for example, you can say "ikimasu?" or "ikimasuka?" both are correct.
@JapanSocietyNYC12 жыл бұрын
Miyashita Sensei did a video on that :) You can check it out on our channel: the title of the video is "Days of the Week and Days of the Month - Japanese Lesson 3"
@JapanSocietyNYC12 жыл бұрын
We don't really have future tense. In Japanese, you would use the same sentense to say "I am going to do this" and "I am doing this." If you put some words such as "soon," "next month" or "someday," it sounds you are talking about the future.

I really like how you have provided conversationally practical sentences, and thanks so much for including the kanji! I did find it a tad bit hard to read in the video. I think the print might be too thin for the dotted background. But it's not so tragic since you have everything in the description box. Thanks again!

How about a video for phrases you can say while gardening? Phrases that could be used in the gardening, ie, Pulling weeds. Does this need fertilizer? When do these vegetables harvest? What can I do about the bugs? it would be fun for people to learn these and then maybe they would try to put them selves in situation (gardens) where they could use them :) Arigato gozaimas!!

Okay.. A brief explanation about 複文のテンス or just about 時の表現 would be really nice, but I don't know this topics are kinda hard to explain, anyway another suggestion would be talk about 文まつの表現 just a まとめ is already good enough.. In other words anything about 文法 is good. This is just a suggestion, but if u want talk about it go ahead 動詞の形, you know is always good remember the four basic forms. Please Keep posting these videos They're the best on youtube おめでとう!

Oh, could you make a video where it teachers you how to say certain words in a certain order. Like in America we say our subject first then the so on and so on. But how like it's said in Japanese. I hope you're able to understand where I'm going at. And could you also make one about the "family members!" I'll really enjoy that the most. And GR8 job on the video as ALWAYS! *Matane!* /(^-^)\

How would I say I'm originally from New York but now I reside in Georgia?
@dragonballz08 жыл бұрын
You would write it in a few different ways. One of two ways (I'll show) is, if you were outside the country where you're from. The other way below is if you're still in the same country you're from, just live in another part/state: "I come from New York. However, I live in Georgia." 出身はニューヨークです。 でも今はジョージアに住んでいます。

You want to search for Japanese news in Hiragana instead. You don't want to fall into something called "Romaji trap." Its something that confuses/hinders students learning Japanese when they're learning to read Hiragana because they got used to Japanese in Romaji.
