Fun fact: The person who voiced Sonic in this game is the japanese voice actor of Ky Kiske in the Guilty Gear series. He is also the earliest voice actor for Sonic the Hedgehog in general, which is also awesome.

This was actually one of those “my first video game” type kiddie rides (kiddie ride with screen and 1-2 control buttons) like what you see at Chuck E Cheeses and stuff. The machine was shaped like a tiny cop car that nobody over the age of 6 with the right mind could fit in the seat of. Also it apparently had an English version despite being a Japan-only “game”.
