Purchased a HTE 1.3 myself, over 30 yrs in this business, I have to say I'm impressed with Walcom. I have had MANY guns and probably will have more. Looking at the ego mini now, I'll purchase in a few weeks. Good video! Paint on brother!

Those guns do look like they give a good finish but the look of them puts me off buying, as you mentioned they scuff easily and even when cleaned still look dirty, Gabe from Motivated Painters took us (YT viewers) on a tour of where they are made and they do look well constructed, they are available here in the UK and the prices look quite good. I've recently upgraded my guns to Devilbiss GTI Pro lite and FLG5 so I'll stick to those plus they look great! John UK.

Spray with one once, I have had no issues with scuffing with my 360 light HTE Base, my slim Kombat HTE Nero, my slim Kombat HTE clear gun, or my ego 190 HTE touch up/ cerekote gun the last two years and that ego 190 gets used for cerekote 6 days a week. These guns resulted in my selling my two teckna guns and dv1 base gun and I haven't looked back or regreted it at all. HTE is a brilliant concept you will notice immediately you get less overspray and waste less material. First time I tried my Slim Kombat 1.3mm HTE clear gun using Big Brain Glamour Gloss I laid the best clear finish down I ever laid in my life. Result was truly remarkable and I'm not impressed easily by things but I give credit when it's due. Plus Walcom people here in the US which they are in Rhode Island have been fantastic giving me promo codes for every purchase as well as sending me bonus items like there fan blower nozzle, different nozzle, cap, needle sets (which are expensive) great people there.

I used a fx 97 geo 20 years ago. Great walcom gun. Parts were easy to get back then. Not so today. To many seals to get damaged so it didn’t last long. These newer guns seem like less parts to replace. But different size fluid tips don’t seem easy to find. Probably better to stick with devilbiss, since parts are everywhere.

Hi, could you perhaps figure out how to make the paint boss VR app support oculus headsets? Would love to have a go on that but I don't have a HTC headset

Did you enjoy using this gun more or less than the DV1? Is the performance comparable or is this better than the Devilbiss in terms of base cost performance excluding any parts sourcing issues etc. Thanks

Lasts for a couple of months and after plug in and off the digital bit it starts leaking air. There is a spring with a little o plastic ring and after unscrewing from the main body (hard plastic) the thread wears off. For the money I paid it is a completely let down!!
