I hope I just interpreted this the wrong way, but some of the self degradation in this video from the Walrus felt a bit sad and concerning. I know he calls himself a man child a lot, and it can be funny, but the multiple instances of him calling himself a loser and all that made me feel bad for him. I hate that we live in the timeline in which NAME BRAND NERF BLASTERS are the WORST NERF BLASTERS on the market. If you want quality, the absolute last place you should be looking is the company that trademarked the name. That the list includes any Nerf(tm) blasters at all tells me everything I need to know about its integrity. That is to say: it has none. I get that not everyone wants to spend $250 on a Baize for their grandkids, but even in the realm of 'cheap blasters the kids can play with in the living room,' Nerf(tm) is far and away the worst price-to-performance on the market. Spend five more dollars on a Dart Zone or Adventure Force blaster that'll last longer, work better, and look cooler, for god's sake! Your grandkids will thank you!

Okay but as a guy who works at a nerf arena, we use the rd 6 as our standard gun u get when u come and to be honest with you... it is the best simply because out of allllllll the various guns we have and use, they ALL break except for the rd6. A kid will lightly toss any gun to the ground and it snaps and breaks but a kids will chuck that rd6 across the room and they just never ever break and for that i do put rd6 at 1 just for straight up quality and durability 😅

Are you referring to dartzone blitzfire or a air warriors one.. issue with dart zone blasters for us are fps, its far to high for 5 year olds to 10 years olds that come and the air warriors brand quality control is very iffy to me but thanks for the suggestions, we'll keep the rd-6 for now... ​@bigdapramirez6157

LOL. By the way, the NERF Elite Commander was the first multi-shot foam blaster I ever bought. I got it for like $6 around December 2023 and still have it. Before that, my very first blaster, purchased about a month prior to the NERF Elite, was a single-shot model I got for $5 from a local Five Below store. Yeah, that was my gateway drug.😀 That one I no longer have; I gave it away to a neighbor's 8-year-old son. I think it was an X-Shot Dinosaur decorated something, but I don't exactly remember. Anyway, thanks for this amusing video.

I know its a hot take but since its never given me any trouble, the commander is pretty fun for stock but the problem is from 2.0 alone you have the trailblazer as a better sidearm and if you add a stock and barrel, you have the eaglepoint as a better main, if you're going for an all revolver setup. Again, my eaglepoint hasn't given me any problems so I guess im lucky but for stock its genuinely accurate

I really am shocked with the sort of blasters GameRadar are recommending as there was a lot of trash in the lists! Sure, n-series is newer but that idea doesn’t wash with me. The only Elite 2.0 I would recommend is the double punch and I didn't see that when I did my quick skim of the video. Seriously, go with the Xshot, Dartzone and adventure force offerings as you will avoid disappointment very nicely.

This is why I hate these types of ranking sites. They don’t make any actual sense and their reasons feel like they were paid to say them. You’re telling me that even though they are other BETTER blasters in the same line (minus jr) but these blasters somehow make the cut? All of them either are old or are literally mid! Commander, and pinpoint literally got outclassed by the agility, the jr blasters are not complete garbage but definitely don’t belong on the list, gel blasters are still new, they put the scar despite us getting better full auto fortnight blasters, a Minecraft blaster even though every single one has elite level velocity, and the Mach 100 which lets be honest it’s just mediocre. So these guys seriously didn’t bother to look at blasters that people like? What’s worse is that they say the commander is the best WHEN THE MOTOBLITZ AND THE DOUBLEPUNCH EXISTS! Like who puts a dang strong arm reshell over the actual best blaster in elite 2.0 and the improved ultra select that has a binary trigger?! And seriously the mincraft crossbow?
