much cleaner looking install than with the longer legs that go down and mount next to the axels. Might have to try this next time I mount a front rack on a bike with canti posts

Great overview and subbed to the channel. I am just about to fit my 137 but I think I will be mounting it on a Japanese front Sim Works Obento Rack. It adds weight but I would rather be able to whip the basket off by removing some voile straps and then ride with the rack on instead of fixing all the Wald hardware on. Wish me luck, its going on this weekend :)

was the angle grinder the only way to remove the handlebar clamps? i want to order this basket but Im worried about how to remove the clamps

I tried at first with some pliers but couldn't get them off that way. The only way I could figure out was to use the angle grinder, it was kinda a pain. I wonder if you were to email them if they could send you one without the clamps? I know they do direct to consumer ordering, so maybe they'd do that?

with this same basket, on another bike I once hauled very heavy computer home, must have been at least 35 lbs. Actually I have a video of that somewhere on my channel, if anyone is interested I can find it.

was wondering why you didn't just spin the basket the other way around and leave the hooks hanging to the back case he ever wanted to reuse the basket on a different bike that way you wouldn't have to cut them off
