Waldorf Quantum, like a mix between a Waldorf Q+, a Roland V-synth GT, Kurweil K2000 and a Hartmann neuron.

The sounds are so beautiful, I've come to think this is the best "modern" synthesizer of the present time, way beyond anything else on the market at the moment.

It's definitely in a different league of its own. I've owned and played a lot of synths and this is the deepest one I've ever used! (and I've used a Fairlight!)

I like the last patch "My Firefly" most. Well done. You should consider selling them. But I am not sure if Waldorf made a copy protection for samples available for distributers.

Only the ones around the touchscreen because of the way they had to mount them. The rest of the knobs are fine.
@Genshi5 жыл бұрын
audiotone for the distortion? Turn down that compression knob on the far right. I don’t know why they even added that (I have mine turned all the way down 98% of the time.)

Can you do a walk through video of creating one of your presets? Is it easy to load samples in? Better yet arw you selling a library ?
@moonsofjupiter4 жыл бұрын
derek jurovich it’s very easy and fast to import and load samples from the SD card. Also intuitive to do what you want. The granular ways you can manipulate and play back the samples are awesome.

It is the waldorf that is making the music for you.
@Genshi5 жыл бұрын
nope, I completely programmed these patches in myself from scratch. There is no one else with a Waldorf Quantum that could create these patches in the same way.
@expeditiondechouette5 жыл бұрын
Do you sync it with a daw too?
@Genshi5 жыл бұрын
You can sync it with a DAW, but for most of my own music, I just play it by ear without sync. That being said, I just finished composing the music to three feature films for the SyFy Channel, and in those cases, I absolutely had to have everything in sync; not just to the DAW, but to the Timecode of the film as well.
@trevor48355 жыл бұрын
Genshi Media Group that is the coolest thing ever that you scored syfy films with this thing!!
@Genshi5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! They were mostly low budget stuff, but the most popular one which is now "On Demand" (if you have cable and SyFy) is "Zombie Tidal Wave". It's actually a pretty fun movie!

Not as expensive as a Moog One, and does a whole lot more (more than any other hardware synth actually.)
