WALES FIRST TEST TEAM TO PLAY AUSTRALIA

Wales will travel to Australia to take on the Australian Wallabies in a two test series commencing on July 6th in Brisbane, Australia.
In this episode of Inside Rugby with Mark I sit down and put forward my selection for a Wales 1st team to take on the Wallabies.
Wales have lost their last 7 test matches so it is time for Warren Gatland and his crew come up with a win, and this might be a very good chance for them, given that Australia are also in rebuilding phase under new head coach Joe Schmidt.

I respect what you do for rugby and what you’re doing keep it up man your content is awesome. But I’m a big Welsh rugby fan and I believe this will be the team selection but I would change it this is the team I would choose and I will explain hopefully we will see these some of these players in the second game Squad I would choose for Australia 1. Gareth Thomas 2. Dewi lake 3. Dillon lewis 4. Dafydd Jenkins 5. Christ tshiunza (partnership with dafydd as they play together) 6. James botham (I think he’s a good player and should be tried in this position over plum tree 7. Tommy reffell 8. Aaron wainwright 9. Kieran hardy (Gareth hasn’t been playing great for scarlets) 10. Ben Thomas (okay for Cardiff better at attacking than costelow try it out Cardiff tried playing instead of tinus looked pretty good) 11. Regan grace (class for St Helens give him a chance the Welsh wizard) 12. Nick Tompkins 13. Mason Grady 14. Josh Hathaway (great for Gloucester) 15. Liam Williams (experience still world class played well in World Cup)

I know this selection probably won’t be selected but this is the team I think would play the best as someone who has watched Welsh rugby most their life and a big osprey fan it’s been pretty disappointing and the results aren’t gonna come I think we need to try something new Ben Thomas has been brought as a 10 I’m pretty sure I can’t see him playing over the current centres and it’s where I would play him Cameron winnet is good but I don’t think the experience is here yet he’s been kinda thrown in the deep end and showed he has had it but I think Liam Williams plays the 15 position better than him

Genuine question, why would you pick Domachowski over Gareth Thomas at loose head? I agree with all your other picks so I’m just interested to hear your view on this particular selection 😀

Gareth, merely on form and gut feel, thats it to be honest. Yet if G Thomas gets the nod I wouldnt be surprised.

@@insiderugbywithmark he’s a big lad and highly thought of so it’s certainly not a bad choice. I’ve heard rumours they are going to play Ben Thomas at 10 plays inside centre for Cardiff and that the centre partnership will remain the same. I hope the midfield is different than the last game I don’t think it worked, Grady is a 13 not a 12 to me, it’s a waste of his talent. They are just rumours at the minute though. 👍🏻

Wales need to move on from Gatland, he is a serial loser unfortunately - can’t argue with stats and facts. They need a fresh perspective to drive them back to better days in the future….
