When Waleska starts to go on and on and Efra wants to butt-in, yet she still has a lot to say, you see him just look at her indulgently and smile at her. Here I enjoyed it when Efra said, "I gave you the death stare" with loving-smiling eyes. Haha. So refreshing to see. Great commentaries, both of you. I was part of the audience on that concert!!! Bought the ticket almost the same date if the concert, hahaha so I was at the farthest part (almost top) of Araneta when Jessie J had her concert in 2014. Morissette was there as a fan, she even lined up to have an autograph of Jessie before the concert begun. That's when they get to chit chat and Jessie learned that Morissette is a local singer/celebrity. Jessie told this before calling Morissette to stage to sing with her.

This was when Morissette was still freshly out from her The voice stint and Abs-cbn (her mother studio) asked her to interview Jessie J prior to her concert. In the interview she shared to Jessie that she was a part of the Philippine franchise of The voice, Jessie then asked her to sing a few lines and immediately invited her to sing the same song in her concert and this happened. In other videos Morissette was seen tearing up in this performance. She maybe was surprised and could not believe she gets to share the same stage with one of her idols. This happened when she was still new and rising in the business. Also want to share that this song was the same song she sang when she got eliminated from The voice during the semi finals, but also the same song to get her share a stage with Jessie. I just thought that is very inspiring. Her life story as an artist is very inspiring. She auditioned and joined a lot of talent shows and singing contests from the past but was never given the opportunity to win. Always a runner up and a semi finalist. But she didnt succumb to failures. Until she auditioned in the first season of The voice Ph, and lost again. But with the amount of talent and the personality and charisma she has, producers and directors saw her big potential. And fast forward to present times, she's now more successful and more popular than the winners. Her story is truly inspiring.

Morisserre mentioned that she had sang " Who You Are " during The Voice Philippines the year before and that's when Jessie invited her to sing on stage with her to that song.

The 'back story' of this magical event in Manila, PH all started by a CHANCE ENCOUNTER. 2 days before Jessie J's concert ( June 14, 2014 ) Morissette's manager called her to tell her that she has an opportunity to interview one of her idols, its Jessie J. So, Morissette then proceeded to interview Jessie J, and at that moment, Jessie J asked Morissette if she can sing? This humble young woman who just turned 18 years old on the 2nd of June 2014 answered timidly and said yes. Jessie J asked her to sing right there and then. Afterwards, Jessie J TOLD Morissette that she has to be ON STAGE at her concert at The Araneta Coliseum. Of course Morissette was in shock at the opportunity.What you just watched was IMPROMPTU. All Morissette knew was to follow the back up singer's instructions, and be ready when Jessie J calls her on stage. To me, in my humble opinion is the beginning of Morissette's rise in popularity in the PH, and the whole music industry for that matter. Thanks to Jessie J for making this pivotal moment in Morissette's life possible. Thanks guys for enjoying the video.

You should listen to KZ Tandingan, who in her Teen years develop a polyp in her throat. She used to be a power belter like so much of our aspiring singers at that time but she learned to reinvent herself because as she said it in her interview in a London based radio station, her dream will not be define by that disease. So one of her inspirations for much of her styles today is Jessie J. They actually met in The Singer where they were both contestants and Jessie J won that show.
