korek (correct)! this is why it's super hard to be a big singer in the philippines...because what to other people in the world is rightfully amazing and worthy of having successful musical careers, is simply like it's par for the course here. plus, most would have zero formal training! oh, if only more producers would see that.

I thank you both for your very favorable reactions on Filipino Singers. I am very proud of them and for being a Filipino. They come from the same province as mine, Batangas. But this does not mean that we are the only ones who know how to sing. Todos Filipinos saben cantar con mucho gusto y con voces agradables tambien. These activities are just normal in the whole country. Even our women and young girls do the same too. Even inside malls, if there is a Videoke (Karaoke) Machine available, you may find a nobody singing like a professional. We all love to do it. Those who do not have good voices or are shy to sing later turn out to be good singers too after some practice. Wine and alcohol do help in our voice improvement; The best training ground for most of us is the church. When we attend masses or religious services we sing out loud to the Lord without shame, hesitation and fear. This maybe is the reason why all of us are gifted with the ability to sing and sing very well. Incidentally, most of us can also read musical notes; that is why many of us can play a musical instrument. In our house we have a piano, an organ, a guitar, a violin and an accordion. Everyone in the family can sing even our youngest boy who is only 7 years old. God bless the Philippines. We are proud to be "EL PAIS DONDE TODOS CANTAN".

This is how Pinoys enjoy and consume music. Since you mentioned Michael Pangilinan, he just released a new video, his cover of Michael Bolton's "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You". You might want to check it out.

You guys also have to react to Sad Filipino Commercials for you to know how genuine we are. You'll get to know more about our culture and why we put so much passion to music. This is one reason why Inuman Sessions here are really normal. 🤣👍

Singing in gatherings is a fond things Filipino love. Dancing and singing it's like a hobby and just for fun. No big deal.
