Salman in 90's was something else.. I was a kid and I wasnt old enough to be smitten or drool over him but he looked so charming on screen which was enough to make you a fan.... Contrary to srk salman somehow had fans of all age groups,many of my friends at age group of around 5 or 10 would name him as favouritr actor.. Watching this compilation reminded how innocent those days used to be, and it show in all the songs, lyrics, compositions.. Even looks of characters were so soft.. Kajol and ajay had worked a lot together.. You actually missed them in pyaar toh hona hi tha in this video.. Also aishwarya abhishekh didn't fell in love from that movie,it was years later, she was dating salman at that time..

@Megha-h7k I'm not talking about melody, I'm talking about genre. Even Waleska and Efra agreed that a lot of these songs used the same instruments and created a bright, happy sound. Yes there were some exceptions, such as Fanaa, but again that was in the 2000s. Compare their discography to A R Rahman's, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's, or even Vishal Shekar and you'll see so much more variety than in Jatin-Lalit's music. APT doesn't even sound like the other singles Rosé has out right now. My favourite groups have a lot of variety in their music.

@ActuallyAnanya dude it depends on the theme of movies which sort of music is gonna be used as in here u get the difference in terms of way of singing unlike in rose album where the singer is same so the vocal technique is same but here every singer has different one this making one different from other and they don't sound that similar though and even in blackpinks last album pink venom and shut down sounded mostly similar in terms of music and even vocal so wasn't that more similar aspect

@@Megha-h7k ok, and I'm not really a Blackpink fan, you're the one who brought them up. And we're not talking about singers here, obviously different singers will sound different from each other. Just like Udit Narayan and Arijit Singh will sound different, Blackpink's music doesn't sound like Twice's music. So that comparison is pointless. I was talking about instruments and genre. Jatin-Lalit mostly used Western style light percussion as mentioned by Efra. Maybe this is because of similar movies being released, sure. 2000s had more movie variety and so more variety in music. But even still the soundtracks for Dil Chahta Hai and Lucky By Chance do not sound similar at all, despite both being dramas with romance elements and being composed by the same people (Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy).
