There’s a KZbin video in Spanish that she won the 1st round of contest and then she and Taeyang practice for 30 minutes with the arrangement. She is a fan of Taeyang and the platform of the program is you will sing with your idol. You and your idol will battle with other idols and fans. They won 2nd place only but truly deserve to be 1st place. Her name is Lee Seo Jin. She then joined different singing contest which I’d also shown on KZbin.

The show idea is an artist is announced to be the next guest and fans apply to sing duet with them by sending a vid of them singing the song and when the artist come to the show they give him/her the choice to choose whoever they want to sing with they are usually 5 to 4 chosen to come to the program and then the artist sings the song with them all and finally make the decision of which one he wants to sing a duo with!

This show 'Fantastic Duo' is one of my favorite korean shows it takes Korean Entertainers (Idols, Rappers, SIngers, or entertainers and actors that are good at singing) and a random person and make them sing a duet the 'random person' really isnt random but in a way yes the person sends an application to the show but they never know when they will get on the show ALSO the singer watches their application video and pics their duet partner edit: RM was also on a similar show called ‘Duet Song Festival’ this show has created some of the most iconic duets in Kpop

This is one of my favourite music show, fantastic duo have now 2 seasons and in every episode a singer coming to look for the "fantastic duo" so basically there are some levels in every episode, first the show introducing 7 participates for round 1 and then in round 2 there are only the best three, and the singer picks up the best participate that he thinks that would go the best with the song he /she picked up to sing in the last round

Daesung was also on this show with a fan. His performance is so fun. He performs his song “Look at me Gwison” which is a song GD wrote for Daesung. (It’s a Korean Trot song). You all should check that out too. I think his fan was a female wrestler & her voice is amazing also.

rewatching this again because why not? i actually recommend you to watch the whole episode. you can just google taeyang fantastic duo eps because when i watched this clip the first time i was surprised why they didn’t win and guess what all contestants are super amazing its mind blowing to know mere mortals citizens have great voice. and yes they did practiced for an hour or two and it was taeyang’s idea for her to sing ad libs too. you know to keep it balance since taeyang is the king of ad libs. thats facts that everyone know already. so yeah if you curious how mindblown the rest of the performance, do check the episode. you will never regret! and from there you will know the process how they picked this amazing “fan”.

I absolutely loved the few “Fantastic Duo” episodes I watched. This one and the guest appearance with Sistar are the best ones I’ve personally seen. The three fans who sang the song “Give It To Me” are truly mind blowing. This show find top tier singers regardless of if they’re professional or amateur.

This show is called FANTASTIC DUO.. so far, there has only been 2 seasons. I'm telling you, the amount of talent I discovered from this show is just 🔥 The fans, ordinary people, really delivers, aside from the artists. This is roughly how the show works: The show announces the next guests (usually 3 artists), and the fans of those artists would send (before the episode) their application video of them singing the artists' songs for a chance to get chosen.. Each artist would get to pick 4 to 5 of the his/her fans to sing with them which would be revealed on the show proper... after the first round of battles among the fans, only 3 of the artist's fans would remain and they would again battle to get chosen. After the second round, the artist would choose only one fan to duet with him/her. The competition would not only be within the fans, but between the artists as well. The artist plus the chosen fan would compete with the other artists and their respective chosen fans. The winner will return for the next episode as the defending champion and will go against another round of artists+fans.

Basically there's a couple of fans who competes with each other for a few rounds and the singer of that day choose who he/she wants to have a collab with. They only have 30 mins of rehearsal before their stage. They are so amazing!

Watch the Super junior Kyuhyun and he is the fan singing with Lee Sun Hee an OG, it was the same competition with Taeyang and her. Yup. If I’m not mistaken I think that collab was just a special performance but not a part of the competition. Either way, Kyunhyun is one of the most distinguishable vocalists ever. He’s my favorite after Kim Bum Soo and Hwang Chi Yeul for classic ballads.

If I am not mistaken that show is about popular singers who will choose one fan out four fans who auditioned to be their duet in the finals. Those four fans will sing a song of their favorite singer and they will compete till the singer choose who will having a duet with him/her and they will both compete to the two other singers who also have a duet with their chosen fan.

It's a korean singing show called Fantastic duo. It has currently 2 seasons. The basic premise is that the show gives opportunities to fans to sing with their favorite artists. So at first, the show invites 3 singing solo/group artists on the show. These artist are the most prominent singers in their respective field (trot singing, kpop, ballads, hiphop even rock artists). Before the shoot, they record them singing one of their songs and upload it on an app called EverySing in which ppl can duet them. The producers then pick 3 best ones among the most voted duets on the app. Then the chosen 3 will be able to go on the shoot where at FIRST ROUND they will sing with their respective fave artists. Then the artist will pick one among the three. Now, The three artists will battle one another together with their duet by sing another original song from the the artist (just like the one you've reacted to). the audience will then pick which duo was the best in which must challenge the current Fantastic Duo team sitting on the throne (this is the duo which won last episode). The winner will determined by the audience thru voting and will be the one defending the throne on next ep. If the team consistently defended the throne five times (just like the duo of artist 이선희 Lee Sun Hee), they will be hailed as one the grand fantastic duos. The songs will be officially released as a single, and will be given the copyright that is protected by the Korean Law, and the copyright will be maintained for the next 70 years. To ensure for the contestants to earn the royalty, the broadcasting company, SBS, will register the contestants to the Federation of Korean Music Performers, where they will automatically given the privilege of a singer. The winning duo will earn $10,000 (Ten thousand dollars) for every win, with a maximum of five wins. There are a lot of good performances in season 1. For pop, Ailee, Taeyang, sistar, sechkies (first gen kpop group), K.Wil, Kim Tae Woo from g.o.d (another first gen group), Bada and even exos duo performances were great. For ballads and classics, and blues Yoon Bok hee, Lee sun Heee, Vibe, Jo sung mo, Lee Moon Se, Yoon Jong Shin Gummy, Yang Hee Eun, Kim Gun Mo, InsooniKim Wan Sun. Zion T. for rnb pop. Kim Kyung H, Yoon Do Hyun, Jeon In Kwon for rock. Jang Yoon Jeong for Trot. Yoon Mirae for hiphop. There are also a lot of good special performance like Yang Hee eun and AKMU rendition of "Mother to Daughter", Bada and Insooni's perf of "Father" (these two songs made me cry). Anyway you can just watch each performances on youtube or just watch the whole episodes which you will never be disappointed. The season 2 format is changed though.
