Super, thanks, finally KK - Krishnakumar Kunnath, Indian legend, veteran of jingles, who began playback singing with AR Rahman. He is not formally trained in music. He is from this great era of 90s-2000s of Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Sukhwinder Singh, Kailash Kher, Mohit Chauhan etc. KK has sung wonderful numbers in Indian Hindi cinema and in several languages besides South India. Growing up loved listening to his songs. He is a very humble and down to earth artist, is underrated. You should react to his songs with movie videos and translate the lyrics, very touching and meaningful :-)

KK is my favorite singer of all time. Finally you guys are introduced to Krishnakumar Kunnath He's one of the best singers to ever grace this planet. He has the clearest voice, even with a light touch of huskiness. I have never seen/ heard a singer sound exactly the same in live or in interviews. KK's voice & his way of singing is purely soul touching, ppl praise Arijit a lot but since KK doesn't sing much these days, the short memory we have these days makes ppl tend to forget what a freaking legend KK. Kumar Sanu, KK are in the league of their own. 90's gen(stop using kids pls, it's a terrible usage) have grown up, especially our teens are stamped w/ nostalgia & forever memories of KK's beautiful renditions.

The simple reason why I prefer KK over others is that he is very down to earth and very approachable. Also, he does not have starry tantrums like others and does not give so many interviews and is not in limelight. Still he gets cult songs since 1996, all because of his humbleness and voice quality elevation. He is one singer who keeps the notes very simple and you can see that almost all his songs sound so effortless! Haven't mentioned this because I admire him a lot, but these are real facts!! The icing on the cake is that KK is the only singer to have songs/numbers for every mood. They have the most poignant lyrics and pierce your heart!!! Also, it's not easy to manage singing cult songs in Hindi/Telugu/Tamil (for more than 25 years).... 3 of the top most film industries of India. None from the "MALE SINGERS" among his contemporaries can boast of the number of hits he has in HINDI/TELUGU/TAMIL. He neither attends award shows, nor socializes much but still got kickass songs during his prime. Also, you don't need awards but just look at sheer adulation you get from the young singers today. I guess you guys know that all the top guns these days like Arijit Singh, Jubin Nautiyal, Mohd. Irfan, Ankit Tiwari, Shirley Setia consider him as their favorite and the yesteryear singers as well like Kumar Sanu etc. Just think of his versatility since his debut in 90's. Don't forget he is a one of the legend in indian music, a hit machine, his songs are continuously being listened with same excitement everytime it plays i think from last nearly 15 to 20 years😇. All the best Indian singers in current indian music industry are all fan of his like like Arijit, jubin, sonu nigam etc. He was also the judge of a program in which Arijit was a contestant where Arijit just used to love him🙌😇
