The way he used to sing the songs touched every string of our emotion, it doesn't matter that anyone understands the lyrics or not, thise who doesn't know Hindi, still all fell for his songs. We 90s and late 90s kid grew up listening to his songs not knowing his name even at many times, but always heard him again and again. Not everyone had expressed feelings so openly but people who had heard him (ofcourse they did unknowingly) were devasted by his demise, it seemed like a huge chunk of our heart where we treasured him for what he has given to us, has been snatched away from our soul. It's unbearable. It still is. We know, our generation knows he was one of THE last treasure of our time and we are proud that our generation had him. We are very grateful to god❤️❤️❤️

KK's songs were childhood for me and many of us. He was like Kishore Kumar or Mohammad Rafi for me. The best and insane thing about him is that he wasn't formally trained in Indian Classical but still he sung at such high ranges. He had a pure natural voice. He didn't do many "alaaps" or vocal fries in his songs or anything like that but still his voice sounded absolutely magical and heavenly and that's the magic of KK. He could do so much with so little. His songs were like medicines for me. Whenever I felt low, I listened to his songs like Alvida, Mat Azma Re, Zara Sa, Dil Ibaadat, Aankhon Mein Teri, Tu Hi Meri Shab Hain, etc and my mood automatically became fresh and I charged up with positive energy. KK was a very very down to earth man and he didn't come in front of the media at all. He's probably the most non-controversial singer in Bollywood. He just loved his work and he lived with it. There are people who know his songs, have listened to them but don't know who the singer is. That's because he's so much down to earth that he didn't promote himself in any way. He let his beautiful voice do the work of his promotion. He never cared what others said about him and he never got into any controversy. KK will forever remain as my absolute favourite singer of all time. May your soul rest in eternal peace. Alvida LEGEND 🙏🙏

React to KK's "Main Khuda"! It was composed by Vishal Bhardwaj in the early 2000s for an Anurag Kashyap movie (Paanch) that never got released. The song and the movie footage surrounding it can be found on KZbin. KK was one of a very small group of singers in the 2000s who could pull off a good rock number (Most singers were either fusing Indian classical and Western pop or doing full on Hindustani classical numbers). I think you'll like it. Another rock number by him is from a movie you've actually watched- remember O Mama from 7 Khoon Maaf?

He never had any formal classical training like his idol Kishor Kumar. Though this was just a mere coincidence. KK 💔 we miss him so much, this is irreplaceable loss to our generation. I've seen a few people accuse Rick and Korbin of being insensitive because they got stuck on musical technicalities instead of focusing on KK himself in their discussion. I'd like to disagree. They've made it clear that they like and respect KK as a singer- that was clear even in this video. Expecting them to be hung up on his passing like some of us hardcore fans are isn't reasonable, especially when they posted this more than three weeks after the news came out. They didn't grow up with up KK and discovered him relatively recently- expecting them to react a in a certain way and to feel as strongly about this as we do is illogical. They genuinely enjoyed the song- that's all we could ask for.
