Coke studio has had 3 different phases. The first one starting from seasons 1 to 6 produced by the pioneer of the show, Rohail Hyatt. The second phase was produced by the band Strings, from seasons 7-10. The seasons 11-13 were the turbulent, as 11 was produced by Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi, but they didn't last for another season. Rohaik Hyatt made a comeback for 12 and 13. Season 14 is the new phase in the journey of the show. All these phases greatly influence the inspirations and type of music that came out.

Adat song was originally composed and written by Goher Mumtaz, sung by Atif Aslam and was a great hit. They made a lot of version of this song. A version was included in Bollywood movie Kalyug. It was also sung by Atif Aslam. You should react to both versions sung by Atif Aslam.

"Aadat" is the song that launched Atif Aslam's career into stardom, but it's originally from the Pakistani band "JAL" with Goher Mumtaz and Farhan Saeed. You heard the band in one of the podcasts with the song Sajni (you guys loved it)
@mominaabbas34062 жыл бұрын
Farhan replaced Atif in the band as lead singer after a dispute between Atif and Goher. Aadat was released by Original Jal band (with Goher and Atif).

Atif & Gohar revived Pakistani band music with Aadat. This one song turned them into overnight sensations across all of South Asia. Atif recorded the song in India for a Bollywood movie. It was the foundation for Pakistan's GOAT.
@saism45702 жыл бұрын
The Aadat instrumental is also really important because it's kind of like Goher Mumtaz reclaiming a song that he wrote. Goher, although popular, he did not reach the height that his fellow members did...Atif Aslam is The Atif Aslam. Farhan Saeed is very popular with music and has also become a very loved/successful actor. Goher has always been very underrated. Which is why I think the Aadat instrumental followed by the song he sings was an ode to the band, an ode to himself, as well as moving on from that time.
@florad6292 жыл бұрын
Gohar was never ever a singer, neither he tried. He was, is and always will be a musician. A top class musician. Whereas Atif and Farhan were always singers. So no comparison can be done between atif n gohar as one is singer other is guitarist. Comparison can be possible btw farhan n atif as both have been voacalist for Jal, which is Gohar's production

its so much fun to watch ur reaction always coz its priceless, the passion for music u two have gives me a dopamine rush . Specially excited to watch the NB reaction. A few things: 1. The instrument Efra keeps on forgetting is Rubab. 2. Aadat is an iconic song which is very special for an entire generation of Pakistan and the song played a very vital role in what the band culture of Pakistan is today. 3. NB was basically the platform which featured the prodigal young musicians of Pakistan and in a way shaped them into what they are today. As they say 'It all starts with a Nescafe', its more true than we think it is :P. Do react to more songs of NB, its a bag full of gems. Some recommendations are: 1. Jaadu ka charagh 2. Kameez teri Kaali 3. Tere jia hor disda 4. Talaash 5. Gorakh Dhanda and many more

Fir hands, it is talcum powder. Obviously for blisters as well as keep hands sweat free and from the leather doesn't swell. For tabla, they apply black soot in the centre. With time, it wears off and loses its distinction. When you stroke on black part, it gives a different sound than the white part of the leather.
