I believe I was just looking at the same sissy bar on eBay. $234+? Made in Texas? I definitely need one of those for a leather buckle travel bag. They have them at vikingbags.com for $99 - $130. Really nice bags. They even come with a waterproof slipcover. Would be great for added security from theft. Your setup looks nice dude! I would only recommend putting a pillion passenger seat if your going to put a bag on your sissy bar. Keep scratches to a minimum & you can ride 2 up if you hook up with a chick. 😀👍 I'll check in to those pegs you have on yours. Later man.

Nice, I would do the same and set it up as a light tourer, in fact that's why I'm here...I want a Fat Bob, but want to do distance riding. Great job. I might be looking for a painted hard bag tho when I get one.

Faht Bowab. i really like what you've done with this, and i like that it can all be took off pretty quick to just slim down for daily driving, but for travelling and whatnot you've damn near got a bagger. I still got my s1000r i can't bring myself to get rid of it yet, but i think a fat bob will be what i get when i do.

Those Custom Dynamics signals make a world of difference. They're expensive, but I'm glad I got them. I sold my Kuryakyn Switchblades and I put my stock pegs on. I know the vibrations on your Fatbob isn't as much a factor on your old Iron, but would you recommend the Thrashin Supply pegs for vibration dampening or isn't that their thing?

Their small enough not to shake uncontrollably on a sportster, I would think? I just love them for the grip they provide.

@@WillFurner same here and cant find a good one. All these plastic crap wont hold up to the engine vibrations. I almost lost my gopro 5 on the highway a few months back due to a cheap mount.

Definitely gonna sub, curious about the fairing, does it do pretty well it did you just want it more for looks? Because I love my fat bob but riding with a bunch of guys with street glides I get jelly. I’ve been looking for a used one but ur bike is dope as shit, did you do all the work yourself? Because that’s when I break shit and it ends up at Harley.

This fairing is for wind first looks second. It blocks more wind then the genuine HD detachable one I had prior. I only did the bags, sissy bar and fairing my self. The fairing was a pain in the ass, because I got it used and it was stripped on one side from the previous owner.
@RayBlack3215 жыл бұрын

Does the fairing help with the wind on your legs? I have the 2018 fatbob but I’m 6’2 and when I get cranking the wind if I’m not gripping the tank will beat ya up a little in the legs as a taller rider... just wondering how much wind that fairing deflects
@WillFurner5 жыл бұрын
It may take a little wind off the legs but not much. It's mainly the wind in the face and chest.

Will Furner love the look,and u can put bags on it and fairing but in my opinion just on performance and ride I’d pick the fatbob 10/10 over a bagger! Love the ad-ons and making it yours.. keep up the good content.. let it rip and ride safe !
