If todibo goes anywhere In the prem I garuntee there will be stipulations in the contract that if manchester united come in for him the following year and the player wants to leave then they have to let him go. Everybody wins. Prem club gets todibo a good player for a cheaper price, manchester United get to watch how todibo performs in the prem for a year. If he does well then we make the signing for the same price we would have this year and it negates the rule of INEOS buying from a club that they own.

I think I need a KG is my life as I’m far too realistic. Ruud is a legend of the club but that doesn’t automatically means his a great attacking coach. There have been CBs that becoming attacking managers and vice versa. I’ve come around to the De Ligt signing as I know his great on the ball so will help our game and is brave enough to stay high. I’ll wait to see how he deals with the league defensively. Drop this Braithwaite thing as the boy isn’t worth more than 40 and we are getting De Ligt for under 40M. We can’t have Maguire he has to leave and I don’t see what others saw last season. The guy’s slow on the ball, tries to look good but no punch on those passes and when we lose it he isn’t brave to stay high and runs back to the edge of out box. That opens the pitch up making it impossible to press high. Ivan is a good buy and what we need to be a focal point and help Hojlund. Brentford have no other bidders so will have to expect 40 and Toney will take 150k over staying at Brentford on under 50k. Rangnick told us to get Akanji and City got him very late in the window so we could have signed him easily.

I think if we only sign de ligt which is probable if we don’t get Jarrod, York or Todibo then we may only let one more centre back go.

Maguire is 31 years old and any team that comes in for him is going to be midtable or lower. Career aspirations to do what? His career will be effectively over the moment he leaves United. There is no time left to reinvent himself and earn another move to a club where he could win something. It only makes sense for him to get the most money possible in the last few seasons he has left.

Yes we thought that last season but the difference is it was only Martinez and Varane who were ahead of him and Varane is known to be injury prone so staying at United was still reasonably acceptable for him as he’d get many starts but with De ligt and another Centre back in yoro/ branthwaite he will be behind 3 fitter and more centre backs… Lindelof Evans and Kambwala will all be challenging for that 4th spot too, and Lindelof is a better passer and Kambwala is young fast and has potential so I can see Kambwala being preferred. I don’t think Maguire is really in Ten Hags plans as anything more than a Fringe player

Going into last season Martinez, Varane, Lindelof, and Shaw were all considered to be ahead of Maguire at CB so he was 5th choice and he still didn't take the move to West Ham. So there is no difference from last season. There is zero chance that Maguire will earn his way back into the England world cup squad. That's just pure copium. Maguire isn't leaving unless Man U pay his wages, that's the end of it.

Flex what are you talking about?! Nice and Man united are two different businesses even though Sir. jim owns Nice and partly owns Man united. The Problem is UEFA have to investigate if the businesses are really operating independently of each other. That's why the ban is until September 2025. It's not for forever. Just because Sir jim partly owns united it doesn't mean he is paying for Todibo. Man united as a business is paying for todibo. Just like Nice as a business is getting the money.
