Really enjoy the videos. I like that roll of nut drivers. Not sure if you realized but that defrost clock is not doing anything. They come pre wired with L1 and L2 to them but your 4 terminal was not hooked up. Also those universal motors are all I carry anymore. Work great.

Funny same Russel model got me with same problem on Emer.hours this summer. HP limit tripped right fan nothing. Found loose wire. Motor still good. Those Fasco motors are life savers for sure.

A trick that I learned years ago is to fold over the end of the tape onto itself so that you can remove the tape more easily. This makes a "pull tab." I'm aware that the tape may dry out, and when it does, you'll know it's also time to change it. This is also good for techs that come behind you.

Have you ever cut the wires to length and leave a service loop, eliminates all that excess wire and looks super clean but that’s knit picking 🤣 good work man, awesome videos!

You are a smart guy you take your time with things and that is the best what i like is you don't rush through things that is awesome you take your time with things. One thing i notice when you connected the motor to the other motor its up to you i would of put a little dielectric grease on the end of it so no rain or anything gets in it

Love the videos man, only criticism would be to not extend the wires of the motor unless they do not reach without it. But if ur going to do it, the way u did it with the tape is the right way to do it. Keep the videos coming brother.

It’s either clean like new or it is dirty. It’s that simple. Here is an amazing fact. A build up of .042” of dirt on either coil can reduce efficiency by 21%. This information is from the EPA. I rinse my condenser coil every light bill and change my filter.

Condenser on my moms car looked clean, but it didn't cool properly. Cleaned it with a foaming degreaser, head pressure dropped from 220 psi to 170 and car is now ice cold, in fact it was so dirty it turns out it needs a squirt more of gas now, to run at proper pressures.

I had micro coils under a dryer vent at a retirement home. The coils didn’t look that dirty. I hosed them off with water and the entire length of slab about 15’ was covered in lint. This was 3 condenser coils. It’s amazing how they don’t look bad.

yeah a multi nut driver set I found on Amazon of course- I started using it back in my home appliance repair days-- its a great little kit

that will do it bad fan motors can cause the high pressure switch to trip. it could be a bad run cap the motor did not start or the windings bad internally in the motor the defrost time clock Jim pettanato not a fan of them on his channel he changes these grasslin time clocks to a older style Paragon clock if its 208-230 if a cooler it be a paragon 8140-20 for a freezer be a 8145-20 with defrost termination. as long as the clock is oiled it should last as they have replacement timer motors for them. i thought Russell coils were once named Witt.

Its a cooler not a freezer. Operates above 32°F.
