I love your channel, seen you take on jobs most would walk away from,. In this video I noted your installing a multi circuit distributor. This will require installing an orifice and locking ring between the TXV and distributor, this was omitted unless you just decided not to show this in the install., it would be good to let your followers know that information though. I saw it was included in the plastic bag taped to the unit. Also the purge didn't happen on the high side because the normal closed SOV magnet wasn't installed to allow the nitrogen to flow out the schraeder. Not criticizing you, I'm just saying. I've noted KZbinrs are very touchy of constructive criticism.

awesome video, clean install, never seen one of those timers installed in a evaporator coil. i can see how the pricing would be lower then a grasslin or paragon but still be effective when wired to de energize the liquid line solonoid. thanks

On your experience Do u recommend to install a condenser unit bigger than a evaporator coil for a walk in cooler? Nice video. Thanks

WHat would you do to mount the evaporator if this unit had a rubber roof over the top?

So no need for nitro while brazing? am fairly new to Ref. thx smooth job and video
@JumpermanTech3 жыл бұрын
It is very good practice to use nitrogen while brazing but its not exactly needed while you braze. When you're done brazing, you can take off the pins and blow out the lines with nitrogen then pressurize to check your work if you'd like. Never had an issue. You're very welcome & thank you for your feedback! Much appreciated. Stay tuned for new videos every week & stay safe out there✌

2 WATER COOLED UNITS. DO THEY HAVE A COOLING TOWER OR DO THEY JUST WASTE IT
@hvac014533 жыл бұрын
I love the idea the cond unit is up off the floor... wish it was mandated to be waist high mounted by code...in a perfect world.

Did you install the distributor nozzle?
@hvac014533 жыл бұрын
I was noting the same thing, but I did notice the nozzle packet was removed before he started the braze, so he may have inadvertently skipped that part which is rather important though any time you have multi circuited units (distributor) . Some of the older units had one line, then there is no need for a distributor and nozzle to equally divide the refrigerant to each circuit. They can be a real pain to put in, and there is a length limit from TXV to nozzle, although it escapes me.
@sajadpakdel9856 Жыл бұрын
Good job bro, but why you don't use nozzle for evaporator distributor?
@CHOMAHOMA Жыл бұрын
I think, he does not know what he is doing. And he left the external equalizer tube capped off.
@MrDanielsantos993 жыл бұрын
Hello How about nozzle kit I did not see the you pout in ??? This part is very important to have a equal distribution of the freon to the coil.
@MarcDiMillo2 жыл бұрын
The distributor? It's factory installed. Didn't you see the capillary tubes going to each of the evaporator circuits when he was cutting the caps off and releasing the nitrogen holding charge?
@CHOMAHOMA Жыл бұрын
@@MarcDiMillo The system calls for a nozzle. The back was hanging next to the distributor. This system does not make sense to me unless I get the data and the tech shows the actual measurements.
@CHOMAHOMA Жыл бұрын
@@MarcDiMillo And yes, that is a distributor. If it is not a distributor, then What is it?

You didnt bleed air out of hoses and recovery system before recovery?
@JumpermanTech4 жыл бұрын
Didn't notice its not in the video. Def did. Good eye! Thanks for watching & your feedback :)

I noticed the same thing, but if your going to turn in the gas and not reuse it, then it doesn’t matter.
@drucker70644 жыл бұрын
Flare fittings seal by compression, no leak lock needed. Also, I would have definitely got the distribution tubes off the metal on the bottom of the blower, begging for a vibration rub.
@hvac014533 жыл бұрын
It’s used as a sealant to lock the threads, not seal the joint.
@hvac014533 жыл бұрын
On the branch circuits, your correct. We sometimes forget the OEM just stuffs these in the casing. They are very flexible. I would have given these a good yank to get them up off the bottom and shorten that flare nipple or just flare the piece that was there.

Wait a second. This unit is calling for an internally equalized valve with a distributor? As far as I know and what I have read, systems with distributor call for an externally equalized valve and a distributor nozzle. I am curious, but it doesn't seem right to me the engineering behind this system.

I have ice build up on coil and 0amps on heater elements
@JumpermanTech3 жыл бұрын
Make sure your defrost control is good before condemning the heater. You must be in defrost in order for that heater to pull amps. Once you confirm you are in fact in defrost mode, make sure you are getting voltage to the heater. If its getting voltage and you're pulling 0 amps then it is bad. Thanks for watching! why not just pump down the system instead of recovering all the refrigerant?
@Jamie-po9zk4 жыл бұрын
also seems like a no brainer to replace the txv when doing a such an expensive repair like this.
@RonaldReagan1986 Жыл бұрын
@@Jamie-po9zk maybe he was going back in with a different refrigerant. I’m sure the reason he was changing out that old evaporator was because it was leaking.
@captainmigs16558 ай бұрын
I personally don’t like pumping down when I have to do a repair just in case. You never know if that king/queen vavle will hold or don’t leak. Also big repair like this , I would just use new refrigerant and he should of replaced the txv.
@CHOMAHOMA Жыл бұрын
I need to see the data on this system to see how it operates and what the numbers are, otherwise, I would consider this video as procedures that I should not do and follow at all. Please, no offense, but numbers will be the ones that prove that I am wrong.
