Just got home. See some people wondering why I wasn't more pissed. It's because this is what I thought would happen. I was saying on DTS on Thursday, I think they can win. My heart wants to pick them, but I can't. So this was my emotion because I expected it. It's typical at this point. If it's not turnovers, it's something else that causes them to lose games where they look like the better team. Texas A&M in 2022, BUY in 2023, Oklahoma State in 2024. I've seen this episode before. That's why I'm not fuming. I mean, yeah I might have got a little more angry in my car on the way home as I replayed the game. But right after, just a different emotion.

How many rational fans actually have any confidence in Sam Pittman. This is his 5th and final year and he's produced 1 decent season in 2021. Even the announcers mentioned that Pittman only has five wins vs ranked opponents, so he's basically only good for one decent win a year.

They ran out of gas on both sides eventually. Defense tired because of turnovers galore. We handed the game to the Pokes. Pick 6 turned it around. Yes. I believe they blew it. It’s Arkansas after all

In a way this a worse loss than the BYU game last year. Both started with 14 point leads

Yep ; I keep real cool when we see up by 14…kind of remember the Superman and BYU beat BACKs…ouch.

oSu alum here, this just popped up on my feed - I didn’t come looking to troll you guys. It was a crazy game and you have the talent to give anyone fits. Just be careful at BPS not to incite Squinky. It’s the Lovecraftian horror that lives off of heartbrake and has a lair under the field. Some say it’s just “bad luck” but we know it’s real, and it was angry at Arkansas.

Bobby made some bad calls too

This is 100% on the coaching staff. Poorly coached players played like poorly coached players.

I DONT KNOWN HOW THEY PLAY NEAR FLAWLESS FOOTBALL IN FIRST HALF AND THEN LAY AN EGG IN THE SECOND THEY BEAT THEIR SELFS AGAIN OMG ! THEY GONNA GIVE THIS OLD HOG FAN A HEART ATTACK THIS YEAR WOPIG!!

There were no “take the points” situations. The kicker isn’t automatic from 41

Arkansas actually should have won this game easily. Should have been like 28-7 or something like that. We played like a top 10 team in the first half, played like a team that would maybe win 6-7 games in the second half. We gave them this game. As for bouncing back? Probably not, this happened last year with BYU and we got cooked after that. This season probably won’t be different.

More like 3 or 4 wins in the second half

They need to Tim Tebow this game and come together stronger and tougher for it. This game is over, they lost. Now move on and get it done.

I pray, that we respond the right way next week. Heartbreaking. Braylon Russell in on the last play and Nichols not getting put on his ass.

Some thought we would pull a Morris in the game. Ultimately, we pulled a Bielema.

Sams to soft.... What should happen when they hit practice next week is Sorey should be running till he pukes and then running some more till he cant move his legs. And the kicker needs to be kicking till his legs cant be raised. And then rest them and do all that stuff to keep them healthy... But the point is the Coach is responsible for how hard these kids fight and that should start in Q1 and end at 00:00 of the 4th Q end of story

I wish we would've got this one, and know we should've, but this looked like a team with a new QB and offensive coordinator. OSU is probably the most experienced team in the country and it showed how they didn't think they were out of it. I hope my Hawgs get on a roll from here and we can just forget about this one

Trey, you were pretty much hitting the nail on the head, I Love the Talent we have on this team, they can be pretty dang good, but they are going to have to clean up the lil mistakes for sure & like you said, learn to handle success........ I think we'll end up with a pretty good season I hope Woo Pig Sooie 🐗🐗 lol you'll be going just about 12 miles south of the house here on Lake Eucha as your heading home on 412 😁

Hey Trey. It's a rebuilding year. I thought the game went great given a top 20 team. I love the way Arkansas kept fighting and pushing Gundy's boys to the hilt. Go Hogs. Next week for sure.
@HawgSports3 ай бұрын
You don’t get rebuilding years after 4-8. They fell apart after jumping out to a lead. I guess we see it differently. Arkansas gave it away, but OSU made them pay for their mistakes.

It's been 5 years and 4 years from Covid year... He should have the answer to that question by now Trey... How do you turn that one TD loss to a one TD win... Should know that answer by now and be instilling it into the hearts and minds of his players

Trey remember 2019 when you said I just wanna be competitive? Sam Pittman teams have been exactly what you wanted.

Yeah but after you get to first base you want to get to second.

@@HawgSports yeah I get it. Perception is everything. Sam keeps us competitive and that’s much better than getting ran out of your house by North Texas or Western Kentucky. However Hog fans have a short memory and will run Sam out of town to gamble on the next Chad Morris or the equivalent to Bobby Petrino 08.

@@HawgSports Houston Nutt spent 10 years as the head hog and had some great teams built a program that was left for dead in 96. Point is he had some disappointing seasons and lost to teams he shouldn’t have but those teams were competitive and eventually won the western division twice. Sams teams could be equivalent to Nutts teams given he’s not ran out.
