The lead construction engineer (1980 - 1984) of the Trump tower was a female named Barbara Res. It was huge deal back then bcos only few women worked in construction. Just the fact that Trump gave her a chance to prove herself was something amazing imo, even Fred Trump his father didn’t really like her.

It is an interesting piece of architectural history/Americana. It was very glamorous in its heyday and a landmark. He and Ivana and many others deserve credit for this project. I give him credit for his real estate projects and reality tv show.

I visited NYC around 2005 as a 15 year old and Trump tower was the most beautiful thing by far. The waterfall and then just simply sitting in the closed bar with the red velvet furniture and dim lighting was surreal to say the least. I didn't have any views on the man at that time yet this property managed to become one of my fondest memories.

My daughter and I went to see the tower inside. Yes, from ythe first floor to the restroom floor was opened to the public then. I hate to say this, after walking down on 5th Avenue, we needed to find a restroom, sure enough there was a restroom to use at Trump Tower. We were so glad that we were able to witness this tower. After I bought my Louie Vuitton purse, we continued to walk down the street until I saw Trump Tower. I thought it was only for rich people or if you have business to go in there? Beautiful, classy building, made of marble and beautiful everywhere inside and outside. When we went few times in New York, Trump Tower didn’t have the stuff in front of the building. It was opened. Some floors were restricted unless you have business. Thank you for sharing your video 💜💜💜💜💜. Today’s date is April 3, 2024, Wednesday afternoon in California USA 🇺🇸. I went to Trump tower on my visit to America on 9th may 2007 I was going up escalator and who was coming down on the other side Mr Trump me and my partner said good morning Mr Trump he replied and said you british tourists we said yes you love it in here we paid 20 dollar for 2 gold bars of biscuits to go with our coffee total 44 dollars that day I will tell my grand kids I met the future president of America Mr Trump on my holiday
