In 1997 I was at the Polynesian for the Luau and walked the grounds afterwards, although I remember almost nothing. I do know it wasn’t this tranquil. Those torches give it a wonderful vibe. I found myself taking deep breaths while watching this 😊. Lovely

One of my moms favorite memories is taking my grammy to the Luau there around that same time! 💜 I was parked at the Grand Floridian but had the bus bring me to the Polynesian so I could film both and just walk to my car and I am soooo glad I did…. this late night walk was gorgeous and so peaceful. Those torches are my favorite thing about the Poly at night I think… I’m glad it was relaxing for you too, Mike!

I love that walk between the Polly and Grand Floridian. I have never done it at night, though. The grounds are so beautiful ! Ok....back to watching your video !!!! 🙂

Hi there, Pam! 😃 The regular walkway isn’t open yet while they are building the DVC tower but at least you don’t have to cross over across the street and back to get to the Grand Floridian now… it was dangerous and I’m surprised no one got hit. I’m so looking forward to having the walk along the water back again!

@@wdwexploreandchill Good to know. I actually did not care for crossing the street. Think I might go Monday for a stroll. No camera because I am terrible at that stuff. lol That's why I found our channel, I guess !

I get it, as much as I’m there I still love watching other people who film it for us! I’m still figuring things out but it is more fun than I ever thought it would be. I went from not even knowing what a gimbal is to thinking it’s the coolest thing i’ve ever played with! 😉😂

Thank you, Tinker Shell! I hope you get to, I know I can never, ever get tired of it. It’s one of my happy spots for sure! I’ll be glad to see my favorite banyan tree that they moved during construction, that’s why I usually get up on a stairwell so I can check on it every once in a while. 😉

Remember my son, Phil? He will be at WDW tomorrow for a business conference and since he has tomorrow free, he plans to do some resort hopping starting with his favorite resort, The Polynesian. Disney Springs too.

Oh sweet, although it’s too bad Carly isn’t here with him but the weather is perfect and he should have a great time. I went to Disney Springs last night but I kept picking up people being mean to each other and it was just a weird vibe so I scrapped the video… I would rather wait than put that out! I have another late night that I did right after this, since I was parked at the Grand Floridian and I’ll upload that one in the morning. 😃 Please tell Linda I said hi and I hope you guys are having a great weekend so far!

@WDW Explore and Chill sorry to reply so late. Lots of distractions yesterday. I just dropped Phil off at the airport. It's nice of you to remember Carly. I'll tell Linda you said hi and you tell Chris we said hello too. We're trying to figure out when we can get down there next. We want to bring our other son, Tim, and his wife, Jenna, with us but their schedules are very difficult to arrange. They are both in the medical field. Also, our DVC points are a little low right now so it'll take time for them to regain. Anyway, nice to hear from you. Have a great week ahead!
