Left Bangkok yesterday back to South Africa after two months in Chiang Mai. CM, was hot , but Bangkok was THE hottest day I experienced for sure. Weather forecast said, 37 degrees but feels like 46 !!! Thats insane and it really felt like it ! Tell you what, popping into a Seven Eleven feels like heaven and then to reach for a Singha soda water is the best thing ever !

I just came back from my 4 week holiday in Thailand, back to 6 - 12 °C in Ireland. It is freezing cold here. Even when I sweat in the heat during the day during work on the farm in Thailand, I still prefer it to Ireland. We did cook ourselves soups from bones with lots of vegetables + some water during the day was sufficient. The soups provided the minerals needed. It is easier for me to adapt to the heat than live here in the constant cold. Where I did grew up we had cold winters with -10°C and hot summers +25°C. I completely miss this is in Ireland, and thus I also understand you that you miss seasons as well. When you did grew up with them, they are spice of the year.
@WalkAboutWayne9 ай бұрын

Hi Wayne! I would definitely take the hot over the cold. Living in Thailand, I am used to it, but yeah, the cooler months here are much better and easier to handle. Just some advice that you might want to get your air conditioner professionally cleaned approximately every six months. If not, it will certainly be far less effective, significantly more expensive to operate, and cause headaches and allergy-type symptoms because of the dust. Stay cool, and keep up the good work! Cheers, mate!

Ahh 40c plus in anyone's language is hot. We have just gone through a very hot an dry summer in Western Australia with temperature well in the 40s. It's all good as long as you have some aircon in your room so you can get a decent sleep, that's the important thing. Working as a welder most of my life I'm used to extremes of temperature, working in Australia's north west where temps can exceed 50c then you really know what hot is. Yeah it's hot for a few months in Thailand but not any different than what it normally is at that time of year. Maybe folk are just getting soft. Who knows
